Saggy breasts are a female issue that causes more women to commit themselves to think suicidal. This is serious and sad, when the problem can more times be remedied by thinking positive and accepting the situation. Short of breast lift surgery, there is unfortunately not much you can do about breasts sagging. And even surgery results are not permanent since the skin and ligaments will stretch again eventually.

Saggy breasts we relate to women who have had children and to ageing. This is not always the case because the boobs can unusually disposition due to other reasons. If at any time while wollowing about the shape of your breasts, and you notice unfamiliar nipple change, nipple discharge or lumps, you must seek medical attention. Drooping of breasts is a natural, unavoidable process that happens to women at some stage. Small breasted do not really suffer this problem, due to nothing being able to sag, so as to speak. Significant sagging normally shows at the time of breast involution; however they can begin sagging at any age. Breasts are made up of ligaments and connective tissue and do not have muscles inside.

How the problem of saggy breasts - normally come about is due to gravity pulling the breasts down, causing ligaments and the skin to stretch. Of course this will depend on elasticity of the skin and ligaments, as determined by genes and diet, and also on normal aging processes. The bigger woman will feel the brunt more because with their boobs being much larger and heavier, gravity pulls them down more. This can prove to be uncomfortable and cause much discomfort.

What is breast involution? It is the actual process when the milk-making system inside the breast shrinks because it's not needed anymore. This is normal round the time of weaning, right after pregnancy if you don't breastfeed, or during the change. Simply explained, when the tissue inside the breast shrinks, and the skin around does not budge, the breast can look 'empty' and saggy. Not all the time, but known, that over time some fat gets deposited back to the breast having the boobs look fuller, sadly droopy usually remains.

If you follow a diet plan or losing weight through exercise, fat can disappear from the breasts, resulting in saggy breasts. Would you believe that some women have admitted that they have denied themselves the joy of motherhood, due to fear of stretch marks and enduring the aftermath of living with sagging breasts.

Try to help your skin become elasticity more, nutritionally, because it may help ligaments to stay in top-fit. This is not a method proven to bring saggy breasts back up into position, but it sure makes you feel good in your attempt. Breasts can be firmed with the help of exercise, however saggy breasts can`t. The true solution is to wear a good supportive bra.

You can make your bust appear bigger, firmer and shapelier by working your pectoral muscles.

Simple exercises found online that you may find beneficial for a better bust - simply do 1-3, 8-15 rep sets of each move, 2-3 times a week if possible

1. The Modified Push up Exercise

Lie flat on your belly, bend your knees, and cross your ankles. Bend your elbows and place your palms on the floor a bit to the side and in front of your shoulders. Straighten your arms and lift your body so you're balanced on your palms and knees. Tuck your chin in towards your chest so your forehead faces the floor. Squeeze your abdominals. Bend your elbows and lower the whole of the body. Rather than trying to touch your chest to the floor, lower only until your upper arms are parallel to the floor. Push back up. Don't lock your elbows at the top of the movement and don't do the dreaded "head bob." That's when you dip your head toward the floor without moving any other part of your body.

No matter the exercise whether it is light practice or not, if you feel pain or discomfort you should stop the exercise immediately. Another important rule of code when taking up exercise is to have GP support.

2. Soup Can Press Exercise

Lie flat on your back with your feet level on the floor and a soup can or dumbbell in each hand. Push the soup cans up so your arms are directly over your shoulders and your palms face away from you. Pull your abdominals in but don't jam your back into the floor; don't let it arch way up, either. Tilt your chin toward your chest. Lower the soup cans down and a little to the side until your elbows lightly touch the floor. Push the weights back up, taking care not to lock your elbows or allow your shoulder blades to rise off the floor. Use soup cans of equal weight and be careful so as not to drop them.

3. Incline Fly Exercise

Lie on the floor with your head, neck and upper back propped up against several large pillows. Make sure you are comfortable before doing your exercises; this will stop you from having to stop what you are doing to settle yourself. Hold a soup can or dumbbell in each hand and press the weights directly above your chest, palms facing each other. Tuck your chin to your chest to align your neck with the rest of your spine, and maintain your natural back posture, neither arched nor flattened. Spreading your arms apart so that your elbows travel down and to the sides, lower the weights until your elbows lightly touch the floor. Maintaining a constant bend in your elbows, lift the weights back up, imagining that you have a barrel lying on your chest and you have to keep your arms wide to reach around it.

Hey girls it is not the end of the world having saggy breasts. Wearing a comfortable supportive bra will hold your breasts in position. Think about the women who sadly due to disease may have had their saggy breasts removed - and would give anything to be able go out and buy a supportive bra to prop up their once saggy boobs.
