The earth is sullied, her soils unclean,
blood has been shed, her innocence gleaned.
From Adam to present that ground has been spoiled,
to reap the earth's harvest men are subject to toil.
Bloodshed more bloodshed piled on,
some guilty, some innocent with others unborn.
Their voices, many voices that are spilled on the ground,
cry out to Him, so judgment is bound.

The earth once darken, void with no life,
now abandoned once again like a man leaves his wife.
Her subjects now face her pangs of birth,
earthquakes and famines, not knowing her worth.
Polluting her airways, her lands and her seas,
crops of corruption, reaping disease.
Her lands that were pleasant long for that Day,
when the ungodly perish like chaff blown away.

However, she cringes and feels all her streets,
the crossroads of men in the cities they meet.
Please, she cries," spill no blood on my lands",
yet, men in their obstinance don't understand.
They push and they push over playing their hand.
So her lands become desolate and He holds back the rains,
Typhoons bring destruction with hurricanes.
Volcanoes explode and lands are torn,
lives are lost, new plagues are born.

O beautiful earth, your day is at hand,
you are not forgotten you're still in His plan.
All wars will cease, no crimson tides,
peace will fruition, truth will abide.
Your rains will come again and again,
the righteous will flourish world without end.
Your trees will yield fruits, men's hearts it will please,
your trees will bring healing from the balm of their leaves.
Your rivers and springs clean and pure,
one drink from your brooks men's lives will endure.

The lion will lay along side the lamb,
children will play with an asp in their hand.
Breath easy, breath easy, many sighs of relief,
the earth finds her rest, her times will be peace.
The curse is removed the old is forgotten,
a new earth will come, a new world begotten.

" Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea."
