In writing this I mean no personal affront I just state it as I see it. My opinion is based on reality and the signs and symbols all about. All one has to do in my opinion is look honestly. Yes and therein lies the problem. I am not writing to nice, looks, or characteristics, age, sex, or race I am writing to and about leadership. Yes change will come through a physical person in the White House but that is not the change we all profess to want. I see it as The Facade they call hope.
So realizing we are a diverse lot and many just may say not all of us think alike and that is a truth I offer the word indoctrination once again for consideration. To me it is the only answer. Some buy into things and some not. For the masses there is a very legitimate reason for that. The need for acceptance or to be part of. To that degree the fact that Hitler and others indoctrinated a nation and China is another to the point that the masses acceptd without much apprehension or disagreement the edicts of their rulers. They were and are all penguins. It is so today in many nations, so why not here? Are we any different, the answer is no. Just turn on TV each day and get indoctrinated. It is called advertising.
So while most go along with the program there is always a minority that does not go along with it and for the most part they are recognized as the dissidents, the rebels, the troublemakers, the insane or whatever other label society wishes to place on them. Some pay dearly for their "defiance" in many ways. They just do not conform. Hitler, Stalin and others simply got rid of them. The same with bosses only they don't go the extra mile.
So as I look around this great nation, this new Social Democracy, and make no mistake about it even while they dare not call it such, we are, I have found it difficult to understand how any average American can place there trust in this government and or these elected representatives. Their very character and record speaks to concern. It is by nature of their deeds quite literally beyond comprehension. We now have 88% of all Americans with a total dislike for the performance of those in government and yet many, not all, but many of these very same Americans will turn out in droves to vote for hope and their promise of change. Yes even in states where there is high unemployment and foreclosures, low wage jobs, etc. I am at a loss for words to describe that even as I write and for me to be without words that demonstrates how profound that is. Yes and they will even get violent and angry at the possibility that someone would challenge their champion and them.
Example two ladies in Ohio out of work. "We are life long Republicans but we are voting Democratic for change" Ok, just what change are they talking about? The Democrats led the charge for Bush and the bail out not the Republicans. They got into office two years ago on a platform of change and did nothing. Bill Clinton, their super star, promised tax relief while running for his first term and did not deliver while George Senior said "read my lips". Yet Bill did it in a believable way. So just what are they talking about? Don't get me wrong they are all birds of a feather but please don't tell me you really think they are different? You really do?
So one has to wonder how they can literally do this, how? Those that have one can understand. Why would they want to rock the boat? We know that those who think that way are for the most part those who makeup the middle class, those making $80,000 a year and up They may profess to be unhappy about some things but overall they are happy and the economy is not a major impact just a worry. They are just running scared now that they may be next and they just may be right. Yet they look for change, hope, how and in who?
Yes and that is a legit worry. What a fall from have to have not. From credit worthy to non credit worthy, from personally responsible to irresponsible yes and perhaps through no fault of their own. Yet they will have joined many who now know what I am talking about. Yet until then they vote the same right down the line. Persistent theya re right. yes like the guy who owned the tile business and found out afterward.
Today I called about a program being touted on TV by HUD called Dream America. Let me say this, a total facade for those who are not making enough to qualify. It is for the haves not any young couple making under $50,00 a year and with some credit issues and certainly not those they say the program is for, which is low income, unless you meet minority guidelines. How totally arrogant that they promote such under the guise of help. rernt help as well, oh sorry we do not have the funds any longer.
It speaks so much about the character of our nation and in so many ways that to someone who looks at reality, logic, simple truth and fact they are overwhelmed by it all. It is to them just beyond belief. Incomprehensible yet it is what it is. It has to be indoctrination. Like I have said, ask any good marketing person and they will tell you exactly how it works. Here is one for a good friend of mine to write to. Educate us on the techniques of marketing.
So just whoa re these who vote that I have mentioned before? They are as I perceive it the college crowd, who are brainwashed innocence. Yes they know onl;y what they are told and few go past that to investigate. Young idealists who know no better because few take the time to investigate. Hey, here we have a professor who was a terrorist teaching them in the heartland of America, fact, y es and his views have not changed. To that end the Republicans are trying to link Obama to when he was a young man. Strange he calls McCain, John? In my view that speaks to what I am talking about. They are the dreamers and the ones who buy the exterior package first, the being, join the cause, the crowd, to change the world for good. We have it in every generation.
Then we have the retired and the elderly. What really can one say about this bunch regardless of their past stature in life. In my opinion some words come to mind. Naive, ill informed, non informed or just plain ignorant of it all. These are the ones who vote the same party ticket regardless. Hitler himself could be running and they pull the lever. Fact my friends by their own admission. Of course there are the retired who are living good. Many of them are content, life is good and they for the most part have no complaints only when you take something from them. Their big event for the day golf, socials, shopping or that bus ride. The next level are the haves, who are doing real good. A little upset but hey this is a great country and they have it all. And really if truth be told could care less about anyone but themselves. Sure they donate but if truth were to said they give far less then poor and average Americans, fact. Yet they will never admit to that. Then finally the plain greedy, exploiters and takers. They make money any way they can and use anyone they can for their benefit and sell it as opportunity. Rhetorically it just may sound like those we elected.
So these are the voters who get out and vote. Yes 50% of America eligible and they split right down the middle as I have said time after time after time. The media isn't interested in that other 50% who never show up in their polls or on their maps because they are not a factor in the news or the election. They just keep an eye on those 50% who "do their duty"'. These are the voters. If we really examine them we understand and have a better understanding of this nations character. It is exactly what I expressed as an opinion. Think not then open your eyes and ears and listen. Go out and talk to your neighbors and understand. I suspect few to none will do that, not interested.
Now I will admit I am a no one. Just an average family man trying to make a way for my loved ones in a society of what is in my opinion for the liars, mediocrity, philanderers, hypocrites and just selfish types. Now they get upset with all of that talk. Who am I to label them? Well it is not all but my friends it is a very large percentage and I judge by deed not package. To them people who speak out and are having financial problems are the failures, the whiners, the complainers, the problem. To me and many average Americans it is the opposite. They are everything that is wrong about society and yes this world. All one need do is offer the world as proof and the case is closed.
Of course when anyone looks for truth, facts, reality they are automatically separate and distinct from the masses. They stand out and they are not part of anything that the masses accept as the norm. They many times are the whistle blowers who see injustice and act only to be destroyed instead of rewarded. They cannot be allowed to be right because they undermine what the masses do and if they are correct then the masses are wrong and this destroys the system, it rocks the boat and then what will many do? They would have to take action and that few want to do.
If people have not understood by now they just don't and never will. To those who write about why they like A or B what can one say? They are evidently the same as those I wrote about above.
So lets get down to why many vote. Not the haves but many of the other types. Now what is hope to the average American today? You know not the have but the people making under $40,000 a year combined income. Too wealthy for poverty and too poor for anything else. Just hanging on.
How about a job to start. No job, can't pay, can't pay no credit. I think you got that by now, well some anyway. Next if they have a job how about a decent job? Not one of those retail, call center low wage types paying between $15,000 and $20,000 a year if that and rarely giving a full week of hours. Next comes being able to pay their mortgage, their taxes, their utilities, their insurance, their food and telephone. After that, if there is anything left we then get to putting gas in the car to go to work and to pay for the incidentals that come with owning a car like insurance, demanded by the sate, licenses, maintenance. Now we haven't even touched on a host of other issues like health care, retirement, cost for children and school, ha.
Yes and if your complaining making $75,000 a year and up what about them? Oh, go get another job and education, you did it, you worked your way up, you made it, all is well for you. Yea, right, see you at church my friend because church, what you profess, well frankly meaningless in my opinion just another act. In my opinion think like that and you forgot what church is all about.
So do you really think this tax break will help them when they don't even pay that much into the system to start with. Of course not. It isn't about them. Yes while you got your $600.00 gift incentive or more from your government these people got half or little and what they got paid a bill. It isn't hard to understand they don't make enough to pay into the system. Oh and they are going to give everyone making under $50,000 a tax free ride. Well great, like I said they do not pay into the system and get back most of what they pay in. That is unless they are single and have no deductions and they lose that $1200.00 they gave, without Social Security while earning $14,000 a year. What are you taking away is a better question for these politicians. Oh and they are going to make credit more available. That is for those who already have credit and don't use it or need it. yes and we own those destroyed, termite invested rotting homes that a few years up the road we will make a profit off of, right? Yes while your value goes down, down, down from there being right next door. Don't worry you who have will pay to save yours and I don't mean home.
So why would anyone who is an average person vote for them? Why would they? I have outlined those who do and I see them regularly on TV and in the papers, We know about them. So what about the rest. Well it is quite simple. They may be registered but do not vote. They get what they get because to them and as my 94 year old mom said at the hospital the other day "‘Hope is dead". They vote because "what choice do they have". Well any choice is better then what you re being offered. Just why when you got raped you would want to again? It seems truth is not an issue any longer?
