First of all, I know that is has been a while since my last post. Sorry about that. Life kinda happened.
With all that has been going on over the past month, I can assume that you know by now what I am talking about. It seems as though many people have not stopped and listened to what God has to say about all this mess that we have put ourselves into. yes…we did it…and the government is not helping either.
Mostly, I am talking about the financial crisis that we see ourselves in at the moment. Congress has passed that monumental bailout and yet it has gotten people so scared that the Dow continues to drop.
What are you afraid of? Did you know that fear is not from God? You may lose your house, you may lose your car or other possessions that you have acquired over the years but that does not compare to losing someone close to you, or even worse, losing your ability to hear God's voice.
God will provide for your needs. I have seen it happen in my life and in many other people's lives.
The reason for this mess is because the average person, such as myself, decided to live beyond our means and put everything on credit.

I did this for years until I took a course on how to manage my money. Again, I am going to tell you that Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University saved my husband and me from this detriment.
We have to take responsibility for our own actions and face up to it. If you don't like what is happening, if you don't want the government to take hold of everything that you have, do, and say, then you need to take care of it yourself. I agree with Dave Ramsey when he said on his radio show yesterday, that "we have to take care of our own affairs". "The President of the United States has never nor will they ever fix your problems."
You want things to change, change them yourself. No one else can do it for you…except God.
We have to listen to what God is telling us. This financial fiasco that we are in right now is nothing but a result of people not listening to His voice.
BUT…you have to be willing to listen to His voice. If you think that you can get out of this mess on your own, you have another thing coming. He is trying to tell you something. He has been trying to tell us something for a long time and it takes something like this to wake people up.
Well…WAKE UP! Smell the coffee! Learn from your mistakes and fix them!
God is waiting to help you….but are you willing to listen?
