Advanced Nutrients

Once you have mastered the very basics of hydroponics growing, where else is there to go? Obviously, while simple nutrition formulations are just fine for the beginner, more advanced hydroponic growers who hope to get a lot more out of their hydroponically grown plants usually hope for a bit more. This is when you should look for more advanced nutrient combinations. The greater diversity and the more advanced the nutrients, the greater the heights that you can take your garden.

If you want to improve your hydroponics techniques through the help of advanced nutrients, consider these hydroponic products.

3 Part Nutrients - Most simple nutrient formulations that you can buy have a basic balance of micro and macronutrients. These are designed to be used consistently throughout your plants development. But plants really do not benefit greatly from this technique. They actually might benefit by giving them different nutrient formulations based upon their particular stage of development. This is why some manufacturers offer advanced nutrient formulations based upon whether your plant is in the vegetative or blooming stage of development. Growers can mix and combine these 3 part nutrients depending upon what stage of plant development your plants are in. Experimentation and testing over time can help you refine your formulations.

PK 9/8 - While a steady stream of nitrogen is important for the development of your plants, you should also put in large amounts of potassium and phosphorus, especially during the later stages of development. This is why a lot of hydroponics companies offer products that contain these ingredients exclusively. Unfortunately, most of these are PK 13/14, which is far from the ideal ratio of nutrients for maximum development. Newer research suggests that hydroponics plants have the most to benefit from a two to one ratio of these nutrients. That is why PK 9/18 should be a must have for every hydroponics growers in their equipment supply. This ideal ratio of nutrients can create bigger plants and heavier yields.

B Vitamin Supplements - One of the most important advanced nutrients that you can provide your plants is a healthy dose of B vitamins. B Vitamins have been shown to have a remarkable affect on plant development. Large doses of these vitamins can stimulate growth and help reduce stressful conditions that can hurt plant development. B vitamins are particularly helpful for clones and other plants that are just starting to take root.

Kelp - If you are looking for an organic sourced of advanced nutrients, you should turn straight to kelp. Kelp has a lot of advanced nutrients and hormones that make them incredibly effective at improving the health and growth rate of your plants. Kelp is one of the most remarkable organisms on earth because it is able to survive and grow rapidly in some of the harshest environments on the plant. It accomplishes this feat through the help of a concentrated cocktail of hormones, vitamins, and advanced nutrients. Hydroponics manufacturers take advantage of kelp's remarkable properties by turning it into a fertilizer that growers can use in their hydroponics garden.

If you really want to make the most of your hydroponic garden, you should think outside the box, or at least outside of just the basic nutrients and supplements. There are a lot of tools available to hydroponic growers that can help them experience the rapid growth, bigger yields, and healthier plants that they crave. But you won't enjoy any of these benefits if you don't educate yourself on some of the most potent organic means to give your plants all of the nutrients that they need. By fully utilizing these advanced nutrients ,you will discover a world of difference in your garden.
