The area around this well known Algarve town offers some of the best Golf Courses in the Algarve and the proximity of the beaches especially the beaches of Alvor has shown an increase in the numbers of people who are looking towards this area.
Apart from apartments Luxury villas in Portimao are getting increased attention, since the level of prices are very much below those of other parts which have received more attention in property magazines.
It is my honest belief, that most properties advertised today are overpriced. And anybody who really knows about the property market in the Algarve will, and has to agree with me. I know I am not making myself popular in writing this, but I like to say the things as they are.
