I have been to the mountain top and I have seen the other side as MLK said and what he evidently saw I can only hope for. That is if hope is not dead? I guess I have to look in the mirror myself and say, bob why, bob do you continue to press the point when there is no hope. Yes hope is dead as far as this election is concerned. It died with the end of our nation last week. It died on stage with those two and their sorry debate. They didn't say a damn thing they haven't said since day one only with a few changes here and there. Yes and for me to think anyone who votes and who goes out and works and gives money and goes to their rallies is going to change America, please just where do I have my head stuck? Yes you can certaily agree with that, you who don't like my writings and I will have to concur. I don't agree with you but hey that is life and you are entitled to your opinion as me mine.

It  just isn't and hasn't been realistic or reasonable to expect the masses to accept fact and truth. Impossible to do so. We cannot be any longer a nation of character, values, ideals, integrity, honor. No, not when 94% of us say they think Congress is doing a terrible job and then turn right around and espouse their champions of change can do it. The same two that have been there, done that and still do. Yes the same that voted last week for the pork and bailout. Hey if mine is somewhere then we have an entire nation walking around with our heads up our, ok I'll stop short.

Yes I have been to the mountain top and looked over to the other side and I have seen what is ahead. Yes and short of Christ coming back I'll sum it all up, more of the same. There is no way, just no way anyone with any intelligence, yes any, even the smallest amount can think any differently.

Why, well-

No jobs- no pay, no pay- can't pay, can't pay- no credit- no credit- can't buy, can't buy, bye, bye.

It is that simple.

Jobs now, not in ten years, now and for Americans. Where will they pull those out of? You really believe new energy sources and methods will do that and now? Credit - credit for who? Yes you 50 to 60 million hopers, keep hoping and yes I also hope it all comes to pass. Yet reality says what many do not want to know. So what are they going to do with the keys, the electric that is not paid, the debts that go unpaid, the taxes, insurance, etc, etc, etc.

Doom and gloom, certainly but sadly reality. 2 trillion in retirement money GONE and it sits on the back burner. I would have though that was a front page item? Too many articles all the same. Will we bounce back, Americans are an industrious lot, that is once again mere words and who are they referring to and look who said it, Mr. Legacy himself. The leading Social Democrat. That is most important. Confused, ok, think White House.

Can we bounce back, yes, but you know something no bodies like me offer something, like in my now article and in another authors article and it means spit and you get that who the hell is he attitude? Yet a candidate all of a sudden takes a spin off on it and we are one's who don't know our blank from a whole in the ground.
Hey the story of my life. I have lived it for years with those who know it all but can't see the tree's for the forests and do not know what to do. Yes arrogance, hey call it what you want. I have gone back through years of articles and seen it said over and over and the number of readers, well paltry. Better I talked of enlargement issues. Sad but true. So yes I'm Losing my zeal for it all.

No not hanging up but  as a realist it does strike home hard. Just too many signs and symbols it is really over powering that there are so many and they are widely ignored and not even recognized. Boy am I on the wrong train.

Hi Robert! I read an extremely somber article which, as always, states it as it is. As you know, I personally am "a victim" who has lost everything but I will tell you this: I can't give up nor will I - when I look at my child and all the other children something within me growls and I'm ready for the fight but my question is: where is the passion within Americans? Where is the "fight"? This weeks debate was a rhetoric sleeper and I wondered why those questioning the candidates were so calm? It was as if I was witnessing a room full of zombies... As long as everyone remains in sleepwalking zone nothing will change regardless of how much was lost - I don't know what to say to you because my feelings reflect yours and it's frustrating... Keep the faith, my friend and, as always, God bless you!

Yes Judi. we went out for a cup of coffee to clear the pressure. Spent almost $6.00 wow. Never again. A gallon of gas and th coffee stale. When we looked around the place was filled with retired people. Now I should be the first one not to judge a book by its cover but there were 85% or so of them sitting around arguing about the debate and Obama / McCain. I wanted to get up and start a riot, which I almost did. I asked one why he specifically was voting for Obama and he said he offers the most hope. I asked how and he rambled off a few things like he is for health care and lower taxes. I said oh really and did you read what he wants to do and comprehend what he really can do? Do you know about SPP, what? Comprehensive Immigration, thats dead, yea right. So girl, it is up to a few like us to wage war. That is how it was in the revolution. Exactly. Just a few who eventually turned the tide. Be safe best wishes, God Bless, Robert
