Several days ago somebody asked me if a person could actually lose 40 pounds in a month, and if this is true, how can it be done. I decided to use the response I gave her and make a story out of it. So this is it.
However, before I tell you how you can do this, I have to say that I think that you need to take more time to lose 40 lbs. You will have to do something extreme to do this in a month. However, if you are determined to do this, read further. You need to be informed that if you want to lose 40 pounds in a month, you have to cut down on your calories drastically. It is hard to do this.
There are two ways that you can really do this.
First. Go on a detox diet -- A detox diet rids your body of a large amount of undigested pounds and causes a calorie deficiency. When you are on a detox diet you have to drink plenty of liquids, typically water and fresh fruit juice. This type of dieting cleans you out and prevents hunger. This is the way that you are able to lose 40 pounds quickly. This can be accomplished in a month. But, you need to realize that this might not be the best thing for your health. If you stay on the detox diet for a very long time this could be harmful to your body because you are missing many nutrients. This is wonderful for losing weight quickly, but don't spend too much time on this diet.
Second. Another way to lose 40 lbs in a month is to have a calorie deficiency by doing plenty of exercise and eat limited quantities of food. The requirements are that you must do cardio exercises for four hours weekly at least, and also strength workouts, but cardio is the most important. You won't be developing muscle mass during this month, you will just lose weight. If you do enough cardiovascular exercise, and eat a limited amount of food (plenty of vegetables and fruits, but less carbohydrates), you might be able to lose 40 pounds in one month. However, you need to realize that this will be a lot of work for you.
As I stated, you can actually lose 40 pounds for real in a month if you are very dedicated and have the willpower, but I advise that you take more time to do this. It will not be as difficult that way.
i think this was a well written, interesting article, and if i had any oompf, i'd try them all, but i'll add this to my favorites for the future. thanks for sharing, and i hope you continue writing,

This really does work - I have done it before only problem the minute you come off the total detox and start your old eating habits you gain the weight back twice as much twice as fast! Also it is very very hard to go a whole month detox . It takes alot of self disapline and commitment. If you want it bad enough you can do it!!!!! It really is worth it you'll feel like a million bucks!! Michelle in Al
