Looking at the way our economy is doing, leaves many of us thinking and full of confusion of what the future will bring. The way Wall Street and the banking industry are behaving is causing the population in this country to start putting their money inside their mattresses or burying it in their backyard. In addition, the people responsible for the meltdown of these companies are taking long vacations at the expense of the little people and the investors.

These people can care less, because they know they can get way with it and no one will do anything about it. That is wrong! We must hold these people accountable just like any other criminal who commits a crime in this country.

When you think about it, they have committed a crime by not being honest with the people they do business with and by lying to the public. That is a form of fraud, and when you do something which fraudulent against anyone you commit a crime. These well paid executives from these large corporation are aloud to walk away with large some of money in bonuses and severance pay while the average hardworking stiff goes home and commit suicide, because he can no longer provide for his family. After all, the reason the companies have gone under is the decisions they have made. I think it is a disgrace; these executives should be brought back and made to return the large some of money they receive, put back into the pension funds of the workers.

The Government or agencies, which oversee all these irregularity that goes on with these companies, should start bringing the hammer down on all theses big so call freeloaders that drive a company into the ground for a profit. While the real person who sweats all-day long have nothing to show.

We leave in a free society, and what makes it free is the ability for the average person to be able to seek out his or her dream for financial freedom. By working hard and saving their hard-earned money. However, money is becoming hard to get and some executives in our society seek unorthodox ways in which to get it, such as robbing people.

I learned the economics of a country, when left alone and with no interference, it will thrive and the country will prosper. However too many hands into the pot spoils the soup, such is the case-taking place. The bailout was wrong; the government should have never bailout these companies. Now they all know that if face with the same problem anytime soon they can turn around and get the same help as before. It appears there is no end in sight.

If anyone knows anything about Wall Street is this, it has a life of its own. It knows when to dip and when not to dip. It watches the daily trend of moving our currency and it knows who holds on to it and who aloud it to flow freely to do its job. At rate this is happening, our economy will collapse and will take years to regain momentum to a level state of recovery.

People deciding in backrooms without consulting the general consumer brought on this meltdown. I am certain; once they start looking into some these companies, they are going to uncover all kinds of irregularities, which should point to whoever was responsible.

Our president, Mr. Bush, easily could stop our money crises before he leaves office by returning to the Gold Standard. Even if is for a few years. By doing so, the dollar will spring forth ahead and gain all the value, which has lost all these years making it more attractive and desirable by everyone. The dollar will them be worth a dollar, not half of what is worth now In doing, this our economic fiasco would end. Wall Street will jump into a recovery stage remaining there for months.

It seams as if the people responsible for the financial fiasco are been rewarded for their miss handling of their companies. During the housing crisis, the government should have helped the individuals having the problems with their mortgages so they could have met their defaulted deadlines preventing the loss of their homes. This way the government could have saved millions instead of giving it to the fat cats that do not need it. These fat cats know what they have done, they are just praying the American people remained blind and dumb to the facts and do not cry out for justice. Once the American people see what has happened, all these fat overindulge misfits who took advantage of the average working person will go down the tube

"America lets wake up! Our country is in distress"
