My daughter is busy with her career. Smart, talented, she travels weekly. She has a house and cats, but no grandchildren! Maybe I shouldn't worry, and love will strike one day, but dating is hard when you are in different cities every few months, and home only on weekends! She is a professional consultant for a major firm, and a manager of her team. Her income is amazing, she is pretty, well organized, Christian, level-headed--but alone!

What have we come to when women who seek successful careers have to weight job demands against the personal commitment of marriage and family life. Finding a mate is hard work. Values, life styles, financial styles, family planning, religious preference make marriage a careful step to be considered. Adoption? Who keeps the child when she away every week?

I love her success and I love her. But I would love a grand child just as much!
