Job scams over the internet are not only taking over, but they are destroying lives, bank accounts, and credibility. I know our nation is in a serious crisis right now, but here in Michigan....we are feeling the whole load! Take in perspective that we are the automotive industry capital; which is slowly dissipating, and not to mention that we have suffered a Mayoral scandal in our county seat in Detroit; it's been chaotic, IS chaotic and is getting worse! I state these things to show how many of us [Americans] are in a desperate need to pick ourselves out of a financial hole.
While searching for extra employment online, I ran across a job that seemed to fit my schedule perfectly! I had a choice of working inside the office, or I could do the Administrative Assistant work from home, via the internet. The company's credentials looked legal. I got a few emails from a manager, he seemed like a true businessman with limited access to his monies; in other words, his business was booming, but he couldn't handle the load. It seemed perfect.
Notice I said 'seemed'. The company stated in his emails that my duties as Administrative Assistant would be to receive payments by the way of money orders from Money Gram, and that I should take my weekly payment of $400 out of the monies sent, after getting the money orders cashed, and then send the cash via Money Gram Wire Transfer to an assigned name and place. Seems legit, right? WRONG! The first couple of money orders went through my bank, and it all seemed good.....Until a week later. My bank notified me that the money orders were fraudulent, and that I would have to replace the monies. I was devastated, nonetheless, and contacted the company immediately. Trying to reassure me, the manager stated that he had no idea of the money orders being fake, and that my money would be replaced...I'm still waiting. I'm writing this to share with you that if you are looking online for employment, and the job looks too good to be true.....it isn't!

Ronyae, what an awful experience for you! Whether times or good or bad, I detest scams and think it's disgusting how people prey on the innocent -- I am so sorry this happened and hope this helps others to beware - Thanks for sharing!
Hi Ronyae, I am sorry this had to happen to you. But it does happen to so many people and I am so glad you are willing to share your unfortunate experience to warn others. God bless and I pray somehow you get a return on your funds.
