marks of abuse. Make sure that the nozzle is still intact and there is no
unusual blockage. Make sure the pin is intact and the handle is not rusty as
well.
4. If you are in doubt, do a quick research
on the internet about the basic parts of extinguisher and reinforce what you
have learned through asking questions.
5. Double check if this device needs a
special stand for storage or containers. Know also the different conditions
wherein this item can be appropriately stored. Look for the most popular brand
and compare its feature for the cheaper items. Always go with the ones with
safety features and low maintenance cost.
It is easy to buy fire extinguisher when
you know exactly what you are looking for. At least you know what you could
bargain for and you will not feel as if you are being robbed. You will know
your options and you cannot miss items that have lesser price for the same
quality. Nevertheless, having one can be very helpful especially in emergency
cases.
