If you're a hardcore scrapper, you know that finding exclusive products and kits is the only way to make your pages look unique. When you get tired of the usual products and brands at your local craft store, its time to take your search online to find one of a kind embellishments and kits that will make your pages the envy of all your scrapping friends.

Exclusive tags and scrapbooking kits are projects or embellishments that are made to be sold in one place only. If you find a designer that you like, and know how to look for exclusives, you can find even more products that you like. This can help save you time because once you find a designer whose style and color choices you like, you can use their products again and again in your pages.

Exclusive finds can be the scrapbookers best friend. You can start looking for them by locating your favorite designers online. Designers come in a lot of different varieties. Some are published authors and work for large scrapbooking manufacturers. However, theres a growing group of designers that sell directly to the public through sites like Etsy and ebay. Make a list of your favorite designers.

If you're not familiar with your favorites take a look through your scrapbooking supplies and take note of what themes pop up most frequently. Do you like bold, dramatic patterns? Are you a fan of pastel colors or flower motifs? Are there certain colors you are attracted to? Do you like paper embellishments or do metal additions fill your scrapbooking toolbox? Browse through different scrapbook design websites and look for designers who reflect your favorite themes. You'll soon develop a list of designers that you want to track down.

Armed with your list, head to a search engine and type in the designer (or the brand) name plus the word exclusive or special. Some of the designers or design shops may not have exclusives out there, but many of them will. Exclusives can be available directly through the shop, or they may be part of a kit sold by someone else.

For example, our shop makes tags and paper embellishments through our own website. We also provide tags for many companies that put out monthly scrapbooking kits. For these clients, we create exclusive tags that aren't even sold in our own shop. If someone likes our style, they can find exclusive products of ours through other sellers who create custom scrapbook kits.

Once you find a designer you like, it makes sense to look for exclusive items from them. Sometimes these items will be in different colors, and other times they will be completely new designs that you can't find elsewhere (like the ones we make for our clients). It is worth it to do some research and find out where these exclusive finds are. If you can't find anything through your search engine use, try contacting the designer directly.
