Many contact lens wearers are confused about the Natural Touch Colors contact lenses. The confusion is caused by such questions as: who manufactures the Natural Touch contact lenses and who are they made for? Are they the same as the Elegance Opaque contact lenses? Where can they be bought? This is why I take the initiative to clarify the Natural Touch problem.

The Natural Touch Contact Lenses are colored contacts manufactured by CooperVision. CooperVision was aiming at contact lens wearers with dark eyes when designing the Natural Touch contact lenses. The color of the lenses is a result of an infusion of colors that makes the lenses look very natural - unlike other colored contact lenses that scare away the neighbors with their very striking colors. To bring them very close to a natural eye color, a darker colored ring was added to the outer part of the lens. Thus, the lens is very similar to the natural iris.

The Natural Touch lenses are often called Elegance Opaque lenses, but they are not to be confused with the Elegance Opaque contacts made by CibaVision. To make sure that you do not buy something that you do not want, always check the manufacturer of the lenses. Although some contact lens wearers prefer the Elegance Opaque by CibaVision saying that they are available in lighter colors, the Natural Tpouch contact lenses are also a very good option for people with dark eyes (or a good alternative for the Elegance Opaque contact lenses that are quite hard to find).

When talking about colored contacts for dark eyes, contact lens wearers tend to ask themselves whether the lenses actually cover dark eyes. My answer is yes, these lenses really cover dark eyes. That is why they have been created. And I would go as far as to state that some colors actually do not look good on light eyes.

What there is to know about the Natural Touch contact lenses is that they are conventional vial lenses for daily wear, and one pair can be use for a year. Made of 62% Polymacon, they are available in Base Curve 8.4 and 8.7. Contact lens wearers who have been wearing Natural Touch know that they are now available only in Diameter 14.0 (they have been discontinued in Diameter13.8). Since they have a quite high water content (38%), they are also suitable for people with dry eyes.

The Natural Touch Colors contact lenses are available in six astonishing opaque colors:

  • Willow Green,
  • Sophisticated Blue,
  • Sultry Gray,
  • Hazel,
  • Baby blue and
  • Aqua Seas
