Certifications are becoming a necessary part in the IT industry. They were established to guarantee that IT professionals followed a standard set of rules using a standard set of skills to ensure proper interaction with various areas of IT. I must say if a job is worth doing then its worth doing well to get a computer certification. You do not need high level certification in order to obtain an entry-level job. What you do need in addition to the crest that you picked up are a professional resume, good cover letter, interview skills, a desire to learn, and a personality that makes companies want to hire you. Your first job will likely be at a helpdesk, working in a Tec support call center, contract work through a temp agency, etc. but you must have to go through any kind of certification before getting a job for your own convenience.
