Ah, it is good to be the king!

Actually, I would rather think of myself as a servant of all these great writers than any kind of king.  It has definitely been a good year, probably the best year of my life.  ..and by God's grace, I believe the best is yet to come.

But birthdays are a great excuse to allow ourselves to be Kings and Queens for a day.  God's grace what it's all about.  I also believe the best is yet to come!

We used to sing that when we were kids, I was trying to remember all of the silly things we used to throw in the mix, but I couldn't think of any others.  OH! One just came to mind --Mr. Magoo on channel two. and  you like a monkey and you are one too. 

 

Maybe other people can remember some and add them here.

Great job Teresa, and right on the mark for a really nice guy. I have found other places to submit articles and have done so in the past, a little, but no more. This the amateur writers paradise. I join in with all of the others wishing Bruce a great birthday, although, I have no idea when it was/is. This undoubtedly the best cite of it's kind on the internet. I love the family-like atmosphere and also such an easily navigated site. Ingenious.

Thanks Joel, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to say so.  I have learned a lot since I joined over a year ago. I am sure it was God who led me here because I have no idea how I found it.  You are right, it is easy to follow, which is why I didn't give up even wehn I didn't know what I was doing.
