He resides in the breeze

That refreshes the air and cleanses it with ease.

The old oak tree lifts its branches to the sky;

its leaves dance with joy when He passes by.

He flows down with the rain and erases the dust,

brightens the grass and trees; causes the flowers to blush.

Yes. Jesus lives I have no doubt.

I can feel Him in my heart when my soul cries out.

Don't let Sunday be the only day for you,

He is everywhere and everyday He lives. It's true.

The building isn't the Church, you are; so no matter when or where,

bow your head and think of Him and say a silent prayer.

Sometimes we must work on Sunday, sometimes we must needs just rest.

But, good deeds done on the Sabbath will surely keep it blest.

For Jesus lives within our hearts and knows of our every care,

He's with us where ere we go and all our sorrows share.

He may not walk among us now in the vessel He once filled,

But has joined our Heavenly Father from the vault that man had sealed.

He has gone to prepare a place for each and every one

That believes on Him and that He is of God the only true Son.

If you have trouble believing, there's one very simple feat,

take a walk in the meadow; enjoy the wild flowers so sweet.

Put your hand on the soft head of the newborn child

and feel the life that God has given so pure and so mild.

Lie in the grass looking up at the clouds, shaping rabbits, elephants, and bows,

Walk barefoot in the sparkling stream, while little fishes nip at your toes.

Marvel at the large full moon and billions of stars in the night.

All the wonders on a beautiful earth give promise that Jesus is alive.

Oh, those are words I love to hear--my books.  If you enjoy reading about people, you will like my books.  They are both early American historical fictions.
Thanks so much, Thom, for reading and commenting.

Thanks so much, Ronyae.  I always feel that my words could never be good enough to describe the our Jesus and God.  My heart is always too full when I try to put my feelings into words.  I'm sure it is the same with all true believers.
Have a blessed week.

I couldn't have said it better, and yet so many are unable or just won't allow themselves to see God in His creation. It boggles my mind.

Loved your poem Sandra. I like you get so full when I began to describe our Lord. Every time I see the sun rise, the moon set. A smile on a sorrowed child's face, I love Him more and more.

Keep sharing.

Reminds of the Easter poems we learned and recited as children. The truth of those simple devotionals has always stuck with me and you make them resonate again. This is precisely why you shouldn't worry!
