First off I want to say that these are not my predictions, but just something that I came across that made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I am passing it on if anyone cares to read it you should use your own judgement as to how much salt you want to attribute to it.

But I do know anything is possible with GOD. We need to remember to share Jesus with everyone. I don't know about who had the vision or if this is a bogus incident, but its still worth reading.

I am not sure what to say about this incident...except it is certainly something to mull.

Going home takes my breath away! Read it carefully and prayerfully, with an open mind and heart. Does it line up with God's word? Make your own decision. We have lived as though we have years of worry free living...but it may be sooner than we imagined.

Subject: There will be no inauguration in January, 2009 Life After Death Experience

Scott Walkington experienced a life after death experience. We have talked with him on several occasions and he spoke at our church. When he speaks, he is very articulate and he gives details that would be difficult to relate if this experience had not been real. Jesus gave Scott seven events that were to happen before the rapture. (1st Thes. 4:13-17; 5:1-4.) The following is Scott's thoughts on the past election. The fulfillment of the following will be the verification of whether Scott had a dream or his life after death experience was real. Whatever happens, this is definitely a time for Christians to pray for our families and our nation.

Dear friends in Christ, Before I start, let me make this statement ... I'm just a messenger, nothing more, nothing less.

Many of you asked in the past year or so who might be elected the next president, based on the Seven Signs that Jesus gave me in my heaven experience. And I answered that Obama's campaign seemed to match many of the issues that Jesus promised in this next candidate. I would have liked to shared this prophecy back then, but I did not want it to look like a political advertisement. So I chose to write about this AFTER the election.

I can also tell you that this presidential election, based on my heaven experience, is prophecy being fulfilled. We're just one more milestone closer to the rapture.

Just remember...except for local elections, last Tuesday's election was the LAST presidential election we will ever experience before the rapture. There will be no more! Isn't that exciting?

Here is what's yet to happen.

1. Coming in January (inauguration) ... Due to a "problem", Obama will NOT be sworn in as the next president.. He will never take that office. Why? I don't know. This is the missing piece to the puzzle.

We must wait in anticipation to see whatever this "problem" might be.

2. Bush will be forced to extend his presidential term until this "problem" can be resolved. Remember, Jesus told me, "The president you know right now (meaning Bush) will be the last president you will know at the time of the rapture."

3. Violence will erupt within our nation due to this "problem". What might this be? Rioting? Demonstrations? Terrorism? We will wait and see.

4. Jesus told me, "Your troops will be brought home from around the world, but this does not mean peace."

Then my minister, Rev. John Rice, (in heaven) said, "When this happens, stay off the airplanes, the trains and the interstate highways. If you must cross a river, use a less traveled bridge or a ferry. When driving, use as many backroads as possible."

Then Jesus told me, "Your nation will need all the help it can get to defend itself."

5. World War III will erupt. All the nations will turn against this nation, blaming Bush for this "problem", but by the time the world realizes that Bush was not to blame, it will be too late.

6. Missiles will be dropped on cities on the east coast, then the west coast,
making 9/11 look very minimal.

7. When we see missiles and fighter jets flying above us in all directions right here at home and you feel like it can't get any worse than this, that's when you know the rapture is about to take place.

Our nation will lose this war badly. It will be the end of the United States. At this time the one world government and the antichrist will take over.

All these things I learned from my heaven experience. Jesus also told me, "These are all in God's plan. As horrible as these events may seem, these events must happen in order for the rapture to take place. But you must fear not, for as you see these things happen, you must realize these are merely milestones as we get closer to the rapture. Just do your works as normally as you possibly can. Then when this time comes, I will call you and everyone else on My list, in the twinkle of My eye, just that fast."

Let me finish by saying, I'm just a messenger, nothing more, nothing less.

God bless, Scott
Here is some more information that I found goes along with the prophecy and predictions. Also, on www.foxnews.com < http://www.foxnews.com/> today, there is a news article:

Target Israel? Iran tests new long-range missiles.

Mark Copfer ( 10 Nov 2008) "This Is How I See Things Playing Out"

Ok, I finally, finally think, I have most of the puzzle figured out.

And this will coincide with Scott Walkingtons near death experience when the Lord spoke clearly to him. The only thing that I do not have figured out is the timing of the rapture. So here goes.

If you remember, a few weeks back, Colon Powell came out publicly and announced that the world would face an international crises sometime before January19th I believe. If you also remember, Joe Biden came out publicly and said that Obama would be tested...and that a crises is looming.

Now he did not say in what way Obama would be tested, but I would believe it would be that his patience would be tested, due to him not being inaugurated in January.

Now, I want to apologize to all, for my mis-interpretation of Psalms

108 verse 6. It is not about the rapture at all whatsoever. It says this :

That Thy Beloved (ISRAEL) shall be DELIVERED, "SAVE" with THY RIGHT HAND (Of God) and answer me Folks, it cannot, and absolutely will not get anymore clear. This is talking about ISRAEL, NOT THE CHURCH. How or why I never saw this is beyond me. Thy Beloved IS ISRAEL.

The year is 2008, and the reason that Obama will not be Inaugurated in January, is because of what Colon Powell stated, and what Joe Biden stated publicly.

Israel IS going to attack Iran before the inauguration of Obama, because Bush is the only friend Israel has right now, and he is sitting in the white house.

Now, as most of you are well aware of, there are thousands of old closed down military bases that have been converted into detention centers all around the USA.

Just do a Google search and will see most all of them.

When Israel attacks Iran, the USA will be involved in Iraq for fueling purposes of the Israel fighter jets, and will be 100% supporting Israel. And a current sitting president CANNOT leave office during an international crisis involving the USA. And folks, I guarantee you that this IS going to happen prior to inauguration day.

And when this happens, and Obama does not get into the white house, you are going to witness something that the USA has never seen in its lifetime.

Civil unrest and martial law like non other has ever witnessed. These brainwashed Obama supporters are absolutely going to come un-glued because of Israel. It will be the ugliest thing the USA has ever witnessed. And mark my word, Israel is NOT going to do this with Obama in the Whitehouse, simply because they will not be able to use Iraq as their fueling station and the support of Israel by the USA will not be there with Obama in office.

This is all going to come to pass, and it perfectly lines up with Scott Walkington`s near death experience, and word from the Lord Jesus Christ .

I have never been more sure of anything, and now all the pieces to the puzzle are coming together. The only thing that is still not together is timing of the rapture... But rest assured, it is very very near.

I recall, that my mother-in-law told me long long ago, that Bush and Cheney would not be leaving the white house. We will be seeing this come to pass very soon.

Also, there is another part to this puzzle. And it's in Scott Walkington's vision from the Lord. During the time Israel attacks Iran, the USA will have some terrific explosions on both the east and west coast, but I do not know if that will be from the enemy. It very well could be, but I seem to remember my mother-in-law telling me that it would be something that was orchestrated... I don't know. All I know is that we are so very close to all of this happening, and it's absolutely incredible. The time is drawing near, and drawing to a close.

I do not believe this is Gog/Magog....but its the start of something that will eventually lead to it. I still do not know where the rapture fits in, maybe Psalms 108 still could be referring to the rapture, but I don't think so anymore. My Beloved refers to Israel... that's what I think. But who knows..

All I know is that Obama will NOT be sworn into office in January.

                                                       ***************
Many of you may have heard or read this already and as I said, taking it with a grain of salt. There have been so many prophecies and predictions that have been so far off base as to be laughable. Like the time when the Madrais fault line would experience the Big One and hundreds of news reporters and television stations rushed up there and sat for two days waiting while nothing happened. Hopefully this will play out the same way.
I don't put much faith in most prophesies--unless they are clearly stated in the Bible--so I don't put much faith in the above predictions.  I didn't hide under a table when the earth quake was predicted, but I do believe that we need to keep a close eye on what is going on in the Middle East and what could very well happen within our own borders.
Being a Christian, I have great faith that we are living in the time of the end and I plan to have my ducks all in a row today, tomorrow, and tens of years from now if I'm still around.

Articles such as these just make me worry about all the people-and I have family of my own-that are not prepared or ready to accept Jesus as their savior and don't seem to want to believe that our world as we know it could end at any minute.

I pray for our people, our country, and the world. May God have mercy on us all.

Scott Walkington will be in a difficult position if Obama is inaugurated as planned, if he is claiming that he has (or believes he has) really been given those prophecies by Jesus.

If they don't come true, then surely Scott must have either been lying, or mistaken (assuming we can rule out the possibility Scott was really told those things by Jesus but Jesus was lying to him)?

If mistaken, then he would demonstrably be unable to distinguish between dreams and reality, and could therefore be delusional or mentally ill.

Unfortunately, I think that the first 3 of those predictions could realistically happen, although I hope they do not.

I hope things go smoothly and safely for Obama, and the nation he has been elected to lead, over the coming days!

I'm counting on things going smoothly--at least as far as the inauguration goes.
Scott won't be the first Nostradamas to wake up with egg on his face!

Well, here we all are, post inauguration, no catastrophes, no chances for bush to extend his already dubious reign.

What is the biblical code for dealing with false prophets? I haven't checked recently, but egg on his face should be the least of Mr Walkingto's problems.

The Bible says that if what a prophet says does not come true, then we are not to fear that prophet, because he is not speaking for God. I am always amazed at how a so-called prophet can twist his way out of his prophesy when it isn't fulfilled. If Scott Walkington turns out to be a false prophet, you can be sure he will do the same thing and go on prophesying. The problem with false prophets is that they instill unnecessary fear in people's hearts and take their eyes off Jesus. Remember, the Bible says to keep our eyes on Jesus, because He is the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Well said, David.  All so true.  I rely on my Bible for all my prophesies and predictions.  Only God knows where, when, how, what, and why.
When he wants us to know, we will know.

Hi Sandra,

It is the 19th. Only one day left to inauguration. Personally, I see it going through as planned without any major problems. If not, May God be with us all.

Thanks for sharing,

It is now January 19, 2001. The inauguration is set for tomorrow. I first read Scott Walkington's message two months ago. The only difference between now and two months ago is that one potential explanation for the "problem"--a Supreme Court ruling preventing Obama from taking office--is apparently not going to be the case.

However, there are still plenty of other potential "problems" that could pop up at the very last minute, including some form of divine intervention.

If Walkington's message proves true, we have some interesting days ahead. If Walkington's message proves false, we still have some interesting days ahead. Either way, life will go on. Que sera sera.

Here, let me fix that for you: "I had much rather live my life as if there was an eternal dictator, and find out there wasn't; than to live my live[sic] as if there were no eternal dictator, and find out there was."

Now you can see how ridiculous that sounds.

It's 3:45 AM January 20, 2009. No crazy stuff yet. I'll wait and see how this goes but there's usually a rapture prophecy for everything. Regardless, My faith is in God and even if I go today or tomorrow, I'm going home.

That's true.  But, as I said, I'm sure he won't be the last.  We can only pray that when the true prophets emerge, we will be able to reconize them and as the false prophets keep showing up we will recognize them for what they are.  If I read the Bible right, the anti-christ may dupe many of us, because he will be able to perform predictions and prohesies that come true.

Sandra, you how much I enjoy your writing but simply in reflection and as a followup.  " There will be no inauguration in January, 2009 " did not come to be, whatever the reason, it happened.  Sandra based on the number of readers to this article, and with no negative reflection on your writing or beliefs,  I find it amazing how people tend to want to know about the spectacular, but in my opinion seem to not know and ignore that which is stated in the Word of God.  In solely my opinion a very interesting article that drew many, sadly however, not because of Jesus Christ and the end times, but because of its link to president elect Obama. Best wishes, Robert.

And 'sadly' to say so very true.  I wish I could write an article about Jesus that would draw so much attention.  Apparently it is human nature to be more curious or interested in the bazzar than in anything about love and faith.

You write great and yes your response exact since I write to religion I see the numbers of who are interested and that is to be expected. Like I say confirmation of the age. People can profess all day it matters not.  Yes don't let people who ask if people still believe in the rapture trouble you. They don't even have what it takes to sign their name and they really won't have to worry about it should it happen in
their lifetime. They will have much more to worry about and for a very long time. They are only confirmation.

A sad commentary on those who waste their time with false prophets. The true communication is to be done by the individual to Heavenly Father. If there is cause for concern personally or nationally, He will tell you, reveal it to you if you are in tune with the spirit.

I have gotten revelation and still do on a personal level that is always accurate. Donald Trump calls it his "gut instinct," some call it intuition, some call it the Divine or God. Whatever it is called, few know of the personal connection they have with revelation. The mother who does not listen to doctor after doctor who tell her that her son is fine, only to discover that he isn't when the last doctor she visits discovers the problem she, as the main care provider, and only she, knows is real. The boy is operated on and healed.

Another example. I know of someone who had been working in the Twin Towers for years. The day of disaster dawned and she was prompted to read her scriptures before going to work. In all the years she had been working, she had never done this, but the feeling was so strong that she did so and then left for work. On any other day, she would have been at work sitting at her desk. But because she was running late she was on the street several blocks away when the plane hit the first tower.

Many events that have happened in my life in the last five to ten years, especially, were revealed to me before they happened. Not necessarily all the details but enough of the general knowledge so that I knew what was coming, conditionally,  if I remained faithful to His Comandments. Which I have, and I have received GREAT blessings.

It is sad that more don't believe in their eternal nature, that this temporary, transitory, sin filled and often ugly world is only a training ground, a testing ground, and that the life to come is 100s, 1000s of times beyond what we can imagine, if we are faithful, honest, true, moral, ethical, loving, humble and kind.. And if we do His will in a few things now, we will be rewarded with a great many wonderful things in the next life.

If anyone thinks this is all there is, I feel sad for them, for they lack imagination and the faith needed to see the truth. But few see it and, alas, great reward is only for the few who are wiling to struggle, be tried and tested.

Consider that we as parents desire the best for our children, only the best, the best of the best, and if we are His children, He of eternal knowledge and expansive insight and limitless understanding, even attempting to imagine what He desires for us, has in store for us is beyond our limited, mortal, human understanding.

God does not reveal to impress, entertain, nor does He cast pearls before swine. Only those who are worthy receive revelation, revelation that is often, if not always , revealed in a hushed manor specifically for those who are worthy.

God bless. Keep the faith. Look to Him. Avoid Wasting time on pretenders. Peace!

Well said, Jeff.  My biggest concern was that there might be some kook out there that might have been a true threat to President Obama.  I have put no faith in any prophets that I have heard or read about so far.  As I said, my faith lies in the prophesies in my Bible.  Some people think because the world didn't end today, last year or fifty years ago, that it won't happen.  They don't stop to consider that time is relative to God--a thousand years to us is but the blink of an eye to God.
I don't know how much notice we will have--so I try to live as though it could be this minute.
Thanks for reading and commenting, Jeff.

Well, Scott probably had a very vivid dream. And we all have those. He just thought it was real revelation I guess. I was thinking though,...isn't is funny that he was not "technically" sworn in due to the flubbing of the oath. But he did it over. Its official. I won't be too harsh on Scott, God can deal with his heart. Obviously he truly believed he visited heaven. Blessings to all!

What bothers me most about this post is the cavalier attitude it takes toward the election. Sandra seems to take it as a matter of course that if there's an international incident, Bush can just annul the election, and the people who would be upset about would be wrong. That's about as un-American as you can get. As a loyal American, I would be willing to fight for the President-Elect's right to take office, whether that person was Obama, McCain, or Palin. These far-right religious types would actually prefer to live under a dictator, as long as he was a good Christian dictator.

Most wars have been fought in the name of God. Far too many arguments are waged in her name - though of course we all assume god is a male entity.

Personally, I respect all faiths on one simple condition. I respect all religions equally, but only when those following a particular faith and indeed with Christians, a particular branch of a particular faith, reach out to show respect for others not of their belief. As far as referring to the Bible or to the Christian gospels as sources of immutable truth, the fact is that the gospels were written about a century after Christ lived and their content may not reflect the life and times of the main character.

If all the people who claim to be followers of Christ actually lived according to his tenets, we wouldn't have 37 million Americans living beneath the poverty line while spending money to wage war in which far too many innocents on both sides have died.
