Decorating the tables at your reception can be both fun and overwhelming. The array of styles and themes are enormous. They can appeal to any taste or budget. Many items include serving sets, toasting flutes, and glassware. Each can play an integral role during your reception and provide the perfect finishing details.

Today you can discover the endless possibilities that many items have to offer. Whatever your style you will find the elements to fit your vision.

Table Setting Themes

Eastern Theme

The Eastern Wedding theme is rich in color with beautiful satin fabrics. This style can be combined with Western elements to create a setting that is truly exotic and breathtaking.

Colors like red, brown, gold, yellow, purple, and silver are preferred in this style. Create a simple table setting with elements like classic silver toasting flutes and Indian place holders. For the centerpiece, a pillar of candles in various sizes and multiple colors of flowers and greenery may give exotic detail. Cover the tables with colored satin fabric and combinations of beads and gold colors.

Beach Theme

Whether you're actually at the beach destination or you just want the feeling of sand and sun, a beach theme can be as sophisticated as the traditional indoor reception. Create intimacy by setting tables under gauze linens and lighting with bowls of white candles. Bamboo table runners, shells, and palm trees will complete the essential look for your reception.

Colors like white, blue, yellow, green, and gold are preferred in this style. A simple setting with starfish dishes, toasting flutes with elegant rings or crystals, mini martini glasses, decor votives and white pillar candles give you the essentials for the beach themed reception.

Garden Theme

A Garden Wedding Theme can be very festive. It's the perfect opportunity to have fun colors. Pick complementary colors like blue, orange, green, yellow, red and white. Mix everything together and everybody will feel they are in a garden. Start your table setting with a chocolate fondue, that's guaranteed to please all. White ceramic heart plates, refined flutes combined with a glass cylinder vase centerpiece filed with multicolor flowers will add that great finishing touch.

Black and White Theme

Black and white is a very sophisticated color choice in your wedding. Choose elements that are classic and mix them with clean lines and less ornate pieces to create an upscale and very modern look. You can create a stunning table setting with elements like white plates, white cups and saucers, a glass vase and pillar candles decorated with water pearls, sating black napkins, and bride and groom (black and white) favor bags.

With so many wedding themes to choose from you can always provide a perfect finishing touch at your wedding reception ; choose one that fits your personality. Look for more ideas at www.joyfullcelebrations.com
