Apartments tend to clump along the roads leading to the biggest school in the city, the Auburn University. The Westshore Landing Apartments in Auburn AL lies along East University Drive, but there are places nearer to the campus. What Westshore Landing has, however, is a strong concentration of food joints. There are American, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese restaurants all within a mile or two of the apartment community, with the usual McDonalds, Wendys, Subway, and so on.

In short, the location is quite a convenient one, there are literally dozens of places to eat within a couple miles, as well as markets, groceries, specialty shops (like car repair, etcetera), and just about everything else.

In terms of looks, Westshore Landing is pretty average, but it does have a jacuzzi. This is one of those features that are either constantly in disrepair and nobody uses, or constantly being hogged by somebody. Either way, I wouldnt count on long, romantic soaks in the jacuzzi watching the sun sink behind the lake.

Theres also a swimming pool (which sounds more promising) and a tennis court, and the units range in size from one bedroom/one toilet & bath bachelor pads to family-sized ones with three bedrooms and two toilets. Prices are low-to-reasonable for this part of Auburn AL.
