Amino Acid as a Natural Source Of Protein

Amino acids act as a building blocks of Protein for the utilization of every cell in the body for a variety of necessary functions. Normally, we gain them from our food sources, particularly those high quantity of protein those proteins break by the body into their constituent parts, and then utilize by our cells to build the specific types of protein each of them needs.

There are two types of amino acids: essential and nonessential.

Essential ones: are defined as those which the body cannot manufacture on its own and must obtain from food sources(eggs, cheese, milk) or supplements.

Nonessential ones: can be produced by our own bodies, but can also be consumed as supplements. How can It Benefit You

Amino acid play a prominant part to our body's proper and routine functioning. Their role includes repairing muscles, organs, nails, hair, skin, ligaments and glands and others more. A deficiency in even one of them will severely compromise to one's health. Deficient people, however, are not the only ones who choose amino acids as supplement some people want to increase their intake simply for therapeutic benefits such as Building block of proteins and enzymes.Proteins need to be broken into their amino acid components before they can be used by the body. Keep in mind that there are 20 amino acids found in proteins.

This article will offer information on the following amino acids:

N-Acetyl-Cysteine -- powerful antioxidant, may boost immune system function. L-Carnosine -- L-Carnosine amino acids alanine and histidine and is found in the brain, heart, skin, muscles, kidney.

L-Lysine -- one of the essential amino acid may be important to bone health.

L-Tyrosine -- L-Tyrosine is utilized for the synthesis of catecholamine neurotransmitters, such as norepinephrine, epinephrine and dopamine.

Alanine -- is the most widely used in protein construction. It is an important source of energy for the muscles, the brain and the central nervous system.
