The "Council On Foreign Relations". Sounds like a governmental department or program, doesn't it? It isn't, and should never be considered as such. First let's read Wikipedia's introductory remarks concerning it.

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is an American nonpartisan foreign policy membership organization founded in 1921 and based at 58 East 68th Street (at Park Avenue) in New York City, with an additional office in Washington, D.C. Some international journalists and American paleoconservatives believe it to be the most powerful private organization to influence United States foreign policy. It publishes the bi-monthly journal Foreign Affairs. It has an extensive website, featuring links to its think tank, The David Rockefeller Studies Program, other programs and projects, publications, history, biographies of notable directors and other board members, corporate members, and press releases.

That introduction sounds alright, doesn't it? But there is much left unsaid. Please interrupt your reading of this article to go to the following link and read a list of their members who hold or have held positions of acclaim. The list is extensive and a good number of them are now dead. Examine it closely and you'll find many whom you recognize including Dean Acheson former U.S. Secretary of State; Jimmy Carter former president; Ruth Ginsberg current sitting Supreme Court Justice; John McCain current U.S. Senator; Timothy F. Geithner current Secretary of the Treasury; a former member, George Soros, and on and on. Hundreds of wealthy people, journalists and much more. http://www.nndb.com/org/505/000042379/

I make no suggestions as to any of these names personal aspirations, agendas or anything else. I don't know who is for what. But there are underlying sinister ambitions of some in this organization who hope to create a "New World Order".

I am sure that some of the works of this organization are of value to the nation. But let's look at some of the things which no average Americans would want. Let's just start at the beginning of this organization.

Here is an excerpt from an article which should be read by every American and can be accessed at: http://www.conspiracyarchive.com/NWO/Council_Foreign_Relations.htm

The Council on Foreign Relations was incorporated as the American branch in New York on July 29, 1921. Founding members included Colonel House, and "...such potentates of international banking as J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller, Paul Warburg, Otto Kahn, and Jacob Schiff...the same clique which had engineered the establishment of the Federal Reserve System," according to Gary Allen in the October 1972 issue of "AMERICAN OPINION."

The founding president of the CFR was John W. Davis, J.P. Morgan's personal attorney, while the vice-president was Paul Cravath, also representing the Morgan interests. Professor Carroll Quigley characterized the CFR as "...a front group for J.P. Morgan and Company in association with the very small American Round Table Group." Over time Morgan influence was lost to the Rockefellers, who found that one world government fit their philosophy of business well. As John D. Rockefeller, Sr. had said: "Competition is a sin," and global monopoly fit their needs as they grew internationally.

The article from which the paragraphs above were taken is lengthy and is filled with shocking historical facts concerning the activities of the early years of the Council on Foreign Relations. It is far too much to explain all on this forum, but I urge you to read it completely and encourage all others to also read it.

The Council was initiated in June 1918 by a group headed by Elihu Root, an attorney of J. P. Morgan and was formally established and named Council on Foreign Relations on July 29, 1921 with 108 founding members of the wealthiest in the nation.

Preceding the formation of the above J.P. Morgan, and others, gained control of the major newspapers of the nation. Here is a quote from JFKTimeLine.com which tells the takeover of these papers:

Congressman Oscar Callaway inserted the following into the Congressional Record:

"In March, 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interests, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world, and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press of the United States. These 12 men worked the problem out by selecting 179 newspapers, and then began, by an elimination process, to retain only those necessary for the purpose of controlling the general policy of the daily press throughout the country. They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. The 25 papers were agreed upon; emissaries were sent to purchase the policy, national and international, of these papers; an agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature considered vital to the interests of the purchasers... This policy also included the suppression of everything in opposition to the wishes of the interests served."

Note: JP Morgan was essentially a front for the Rockefeller/Rothschild interests.

Other sources confirm this and state that the CFR has continued control until this day. The late Senator William Jenner remarked in one of his speeches the following warning: "Outwardly we have a Constitutional government. We have operating within our government and political system, another body representing another form of government, a bureaucratic elite which believes our Constitution is outmoded."

There exists numerous articles and expos's concerning the tremendous power and control this international organization has and there is adequate evidence to conclude that some of the elite are forging towards a "New World Order". They have had 100 members within each presidential administration for decades, according to sources. It is an awesome thought to realize that there are powers in the background which can silence any of our elected powers at their discretion. The majority of which were not elected to office.

In Conclusion I leave you another resource confirming many of these remarks: "Why Isn't The CFR In the History Books?" http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/esp_sociopol_cfr_01.htm
