Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Philippians 4:6

We as human being are anxious about many things; especially we are concerned about our future every time. We always wish to do something extra in our life than others. And sometimes this extra-concern about future ends in frustration, anger and so on. We should know that getting angry or frustrated can't solve our problems, rather it increases our problems. We can't change our situation, and thats a truth. That is why Paul says to Philippians, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. In Prov.12:25a, it is written that, an anxious heart weighs a man down. If we stop being anxious and wait on God who is the Controller of everything, then I believe God will make our path easy and he will change our life in the times of trouble. Later we can discover the wonderful change in our life, if we chose not to be anxious but rather put our hope on God. And we should always keep in mind that for everything God has an appointed time (Eccl.3:11). And we never get anything before His appointed time.

You say we can't change our situation; well that may be true, yet maybe we can change it. One thing I do know is that with God all things are possible, and God can change our situation. Even if God decides not to change our situation, He will give us the grace to live and be content in it.
Paul said that he was used to living with nothing and also knew how to live with plenty. Then he summed it up by saying, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
Thanks for this inspirational article, and I look forward to reading many more.
