Forget all self-help. That's right, forget it all.

Forget NLP, hypnosis and subliminal trash. (!)

I've tried zillions of self-help sites myself, and I don't think they make a difference. Honestly. They are really just another excuse to waste your time. You don't need it.

Don't waste your time.

Yes, you need advice, tips and strategies, but not technologies'. No technology can change the human mind; no CD can do the trick. Only a burning desire for achieving one's goal can. Let go of all of that. It doesn't work. And it doesn't have to.

YOU have to work. YOU have an immense potential in yourself. Every human being is a soul filled with immeasurable power. The wellspring of possibilities inside you holds more than you can imagine in your wildest dreams.

You think you can't do this, you can't do that.

There are only 2 days to go before I have my interview, and I have no preparation, whaddyamean there's still something I can do?

Believe me, what you can do is not something', but anything.' Swami Vivekananda had all the knowledge of the entire 10 volume encyclopedia in his head. I'm not joking. People asked him questions from it, and would become disciples instantly when they heard him answer-just to feel the raw power inside him.

And he has said himself, that's not some gift' that he had. He has said that all souls are the same, and each one of them is a source of infinite energy. Yes, maybe everyone is not born to be everything. Everyone may not be capable of being the Tiger Woods of golf. But everyone has the power to become the Tiger Woods of their own field. Oh yes! That's a promise. You can become the best mother, wife, teacher, businessman, engineer or scientist in the world.

Yes you can! J

For that you need to believe in what I've just told you. You have to absolutely absolutely believe in the immense power within yourself. And then you must say, "I'm a teacher (mother/homemaker/businessman/student/). That's my only identity. That's what God wants me to be and that's why He's put me in this position and has given me a universe of power. I'll put all of that into my life. I won't let it lie around in my mind's backyard. The source of power is infinite. So no matter how I'm doing, I'm always capable to doing better, better and even better."

Imagine having $100 billion, then putting it in a locker, and carrying on with your ordinary average life, without having a care for that ocean of money you have, and you'll get a feeling of what you're doing now, if you're not conscious of the immense power inside you. Would you like to die before spending at least a good part of that money? Similarly, believe me, you don't want to die leaving your powerhouse untouched.

Some people think being lazy, watching TV, partying and 'relaxing' are ways of rewarding themselves, ways of 'enjoying', and even 'making the most of' life, and working hard is sheer agony. It's like punishing yourself.

It's like saying, "I won't take the trouble to look for and buy and then furnish a nice big mansion with the money I've got, because that's hard work. I'd rather my money be wasted. I'd be the couch-potato instead." Need I say more?

Also, talking of rewards, most of you know what an immense sense of satisfaction we feel, when we've achieved what we wanted to achieve. Thousand days spent being lazy doesn't compare with that exhilaration. It's like going on spending that $100 billion of yours on various things and then enjoying them. (Actually even that doesn't compare with the heady delight of accomplishment!)

The only self-help in the world you need is this-the true realization that a universe of power lies inside you. All the rest will take care of itself.

I want to give my opinion on this issue. I feel that I have power within me because of God. Without God I am ZERO. I have God centred self-confidence.

But as you said self-help tips doesnt help unless you trust your self. And trust God who can do things through you.

God bless you...
