"Imprisoned in their own homeland, the Afghan people quest for peace and freedom."

Arthur Kent, TV journalist, author, and award winning filmmaker has long stood in the gap for and showered dedicated support upon Afghanistan and its people who have encountered almost 32 years of continuous warfare.

Afghanistan , a land locked country in central Asia desperately hungers for freedom from big power politics and the reign of Warlords. Afghan families subjected to terror and violence long for the relief of peace in their homeland.

Along with Kent , in a effort to make the Afghan's appeal heard throughout the world, musicians from three continents have come together and recorded a song of encouragement, empowerment, and hope. Countryman (Freedom From War), by electric Caravan is a song for Afghanistan .

Listen to and learn more about Countryman at http://www.countrymansong.com and help bring hope to the people of Afghanistan .
