I think ol' Lloyd is very much incorrect when he wrote, "If you play 1 pick-3 straight combination for 1000 drawings, your chance (degree of certainty) to hit the winning combination is approximately 0.632 (63.2%)."
It doesn't matter whether you play a 3 number straight 1 time or 1,000 times, your chances of having the drawn numbers match your straight will always be: 1 in 1, 000 or, expressed as a percentage, 0.1% chance.
