Dallas Texas has so many spectacular places to see and many amazing things to do for young and old alike. Whether you are looking for culture, fun in the sun, water sports, or a blast from the past you are going to find it in Dallas . Traveling with children can sometimes make it difficult to find places to go that both adults and children will enjoy and even harder to find those criteria for free. Here is a list of fun things to do with your children this summer in Dallas Texas and some contact information for even more things.

If your child loves to create something from nothing, enjoys playing with clay or playdoh, has an imagination, and loves splashing around in the water they will love; the Outdoor Sculpture Tour, The Art Garden and Fountain Place located downtown. There is also the Mustangs Sculpture in Las Collinas. The OUTDOOR SCULPTURE TOUR has over 30 unique sculptures just waiting for their pictures to be taken on the sidewalks of downtown Dallas . If sculptures are not enough to keep the interest and imagination going check out The ART GARDEN which has gardens, breathtaking flowing water, and sculptures together. Can't get enough of the water and art visit the FOUNTAIN PLACE which has many many fountains and amazing timeless art. If you want more the Mustangs in Las Collinas are breathtaking sculptures of horses. Children love getting a chance to be up close and personal (even if they are statues) with these majestically beautiful animals.

Did you like the movie Planes, Trains and Automobiles? Than you may enjoy spending a day getting closer to these vehicles. Hop in your automobile and drive over to the OBSERVATION CENTER . This is a designated parking area that allows you to get out and read about the amazing air craft that flies out of Dallas International Airport . You also have access to binoculars that you can use to watch up close and personal the aircraft that is taking off right above your head. Next you can visit the SUPER MODEL TRAIN exhibit in the Children's Medical Center in Dallas .
