What to eat to have a baby girl? Sounds kind of far fetched,doesn't it? That the foods you eat can ultimately help determine whether you conceive a baby girl or baby boy. As far fetched as it may sound, the foods you eat can indeed have an affect on wether you conceive a boy or girl.
The fact is the foods you eat can alter your body's ph, and a woman who is trying to conceive a little girl can help tip the odds in favor of doing just that by lowering her bodily ph (specifically her vaginal ph at the time of conception) becoming more acidic.
The reasoning behind this lays in the difference in the man's sperm. (the man'
s sperm is what determines the sex of the baby at conception.) The sperm that will create a girl baby carries the (xy) chromosome and the sperm that will create a boy baby carries the (yy) chromosome.
Although not very scientific, I will refer to these different sperm as the girl sperm and the boy sperm (for the sake of simplicity.) Physically the two sperm differ in the fact that the boy sperm is smaller, faster, and weaker (tends to die off quicker.) The girl sperm is of course the larger, slower, and hardier of the two.
Keeping these differences in mind, by keeping your vaginal reproductive tract more on the acidic side, you can create an environment that the boy sperm will find survival very difficult. This leaves only the girl sperm left to fertilize the egg resulting in the baby girl you want. So eat foods that are acidic and avoid foods that are alkaline.Also you need to eat foods rich in calcium and magnesium, and avoid foods high in potassium.
Foods to eat when you want a girl:Foods high in calcium like dairy products ( milk, yogurt, cheese) and magnesium (beans, legumes, leafy green vegetables) as well as highly acidic foods like some fruits (plums, prunes, cranberries) as well as corn, red meats, fish, and whole grains.) Foods to avoid if you want a girl:Alcohol and caffeine (coffee and chocolate) any foods high in potassium such as bananas, most vegetables, orange juice ( yes, it's not as acidic as you may have thought) potatoes, spinach, and watermelon.
A quicker way to change your body's ph (diet alone can take a few months, depending on your natural ph) is douching. Douching has been known to cause vaginal infections so if you want to try it please do so under your doctors care!
To test your vaginal ph just buy some ph test strips either online or at your local health food store. You'll need to test often to give yourself the best chance of success. When you have your little girl all your hard work and diligence will have been worth it!
