Stress in the military I believe is mainly do to what the veterans are returning home to. Let's face it, in our own country the country our veterans are fighting for is under a lot of stress as it is today.

I served in Vietnam in the 60s when I returned home I tried to adjust to the establishment in those days with the hippies, yippies and what have you the nation was undergoing a very hostile way of life.

Although I seen my share of combat I remember coming off an operation when we got the news about Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination then not to long after that we got word of Bobby Kennedy's death. The land I was returning to was under a great deal of turmoil, with college demonstrations drug use among our youth the young could not see a future ahead of them.

Bobby Kennedy

I thought over four decades times would have gotten better but it seems as though the times are getting worst. With the violence, we see on television of course these movies are only fictional however they do have an affect on the people. If they would start showing decent and inspiring movies on TV then I believe this alone will ease a lot of stress in people.

One needs not a degree in psychology to see the heart and soul of people whom are stressed out all over our land. Those who see nothing wrong with our way of life are the ones in need of mental consultation.

David, I think for anyone who has to leave home for a course of mission is surely going to face lots stress but that can modify a person's tolerance. I have the same opinion about this world's happenings. Great work!

True Hilda, we must clean up our own backyard before we try to bring our way of life to other nations.
