Every year millions of people are subject to seasonal allergies. This is an episode according to studies; around 30 million people are subject to each year. These seasonal allergies are caused by a variety of reasons. It can be as simple as going outside to enjoy the weather. Pollen is from flowers, that float throughout the air, which potentially can be a trigger of allergies for some many people. It can trigger some allergic reactions that people may not be aware of. Pollen can initiate an allergic reaction for people with Rhinitis and Asthma.

When pollen is inhaled into the nostrils or mucous membrane, it can activate a serious allergic reaction. The mucous membrane becomes very agitated, and irritation and swelling can occur. When this happen, many people find it very difficult to breathe throughout the day with a runny nose and especially in the night. In many instances, this can result in itchy throats, watery eyes, constant sneezing and breathing out the mouth for some type of relief. This is all because of the mucous membrane have become irritated and inflamed. For a great number of people, allergic reaction to pollen have caused people to attend the hospital due to the severity of their reaction. In order to deal with seasonal allergies, here are some basic tips to avoid and reduce seasonal allergies.

Tips For Seasonal Allergies

Fatty Acids from poultry and Flaxseed have been known to assist many people in the prevention of allergic reactions in people. The consumption of essential Fatty Acids in your daily dietary intake can reduce that allergic reaction. Adding daily doses of Vitamin C tablets can lower your levels of histamine in your blood, and eating plenty of produce will be a key also. Many experts believe that, a daily dosage of fresh fruits and juices can increase the immune system, and provide a reduced level of seasonal allergies.

Another simple way to prevent Seasonal Allergies is, reduce the time spent outside when pollen levels are high. Many people enjoy doing yard work, rightfully so. However, when trees, weeds, shrubs and flowers are beginning to bloom, you want to limit the time outside. During this time, high levels of pollen are released, and this can cause an immediate allergic reaction. Doing yard work can be fun, but if you are allergic to pollen, having a protective mask covering your nose and mouth, can capture pollen from entering into your nostrils triggering sinus problems. If you need to have an extended length of time outside, may sure you have a couple more protective masks on hand.

After you have completed your yard work, you want to immediately remove your clothes, and place them into the wash. Remember, whatever those clothes come in contact with, residue of pollen can attach itself to it. Make sure when you shower, wash your hair thoroughly and blow your nose to remove any signs of pollen away. Following these few tips can greatly reduce your Seasonal Allergies.

Great article. Well done.

Some solid advice and a very good explanation of seasonal allergies in the second paragraph. I am amazed that such a small number suffer from this - by my calculations -assuming you mean globally - it comes to around 0.05% of the population.
