I have a question for those who leave a scripture card instead of money to their server.
A server makes two dollars an hour $ 2x 8hr  =16 dollars a day, your card pays zero. How will that pay, for gas? rent? children's needs? food? doctor visit etc...?  Remember charity, good deeds, or are you living by greed?

Your actions leave a bad karma, what goes around comes back. Would you like for your employer to hand you a card of how to be a better employee for your pay? I think not! You are a hypocrite when you do not pay for a service. If you had a good heart you would give money that your server may use to pay bills with, your card is useless in society as a form of payment, would you give a child's play money for service? Never ever leave your scripture card as a tip.

The only thing I can say is, if the service is deplorable, then no tip needs to be left, and if one is going to leave a scripture card, at least use the back of it for constructive feedback for the server. On occasion, we did have poor service, but we did leave the server something. Everyone has a bad day, including servers, so maybe everyone should just cut everyone else a break!
