A limousine is a luxury sedan with a lengthened wheelbase and driven by a chauffeur. Limousines are extended by a manufacturer or and independent coach builder. They are called stretch limousines. In the olden days, the exterior finish used to be black or white. Now, the customization allows for sophisticated interior and a variety of exterior colors and designs. A 120" stretch limousines such as Lincoln, Cadillac, Chrysler 300 sits up to 8 people and a 70" stretch sits up to 4 people in the back. Limousines built in the 1900 are very different from the limousines of the 21 st century which are designed using computers and built using the finest tools. Many years ago, a limousine was built to exclusively transport politicians and wealthy people.

Almost a century after the first limos where built, they can now be purchased by anyone who has the cash that is needed to purchase one. They are no longer exclusive to politicians and rich people; they are also accessible to teenagers.

It is clear that luxury car rentals would purchase stretched limousines to provide transportation services to their clients who wish to rent one for different occasions such as: airport transfer, weddings, sight-seeing tours, athletic outings, parties etc. Limousines are mainly used for events that mark the clients' lives in an unforgettable way.

Today's stretch limousines are luxurious and comfortable. They have amenities such as X-Box consoles for games, DVD players for movies, stereo systems for music, adjustable seats for extra comfort and a bar for beverages. When luxury car rentals purchase limousines for business, they prefer limousines that have amenities that appeal to their clients and that turn a regular ride into an exciting, safe and comfortable one.

Unlike stretch limousines, Mobile Office SUVs like Cadillac Escalade, Ford Explorer, Lincoln Navigator, Infinity QX56 and Mercedes GL to name a few are ideal for business travel. The Mobile Office SUVs are the new office on wheels. They are very popular with business people who need to stay in touch with their home office while travelling. The relaxation and entertainment amenities are the same as in a stretch limousine. When a break is needed, just press a button and your favorite music will fill the air or, press another button to watch a movie or play a game while enjoying a beverage from the bar.
