Once you are the proud owner of a hot tub, you may want to consider ways to enhance the enjoyment of your fine new investment. Many products on the market serve to make your hot tub the focal point of your relaxation hours. The choices are many and are determined by how much space you have around your hot tub and of course, your budget. Consider the following accessories:
1. Steps up to your spa. You can now access your hot tub safely by installing the steps of your choice to make it easier and safer to get into the tub. There are many choices here from single steps, or multi-tiered steps. Some steps even have space for storage beneath them.
2. Side Bar and Stools. If you are going to be spending an evening outside with family and friends in your hot tub, you can install a side or corner bar for serving refreshments. Stools are also available.
3. Robe Tree and Caf Table. In order to keep your robes clean and dry for easy access when coming out of the tub, the robe tree is the perfect item. You can store your towels nearby on the caf table, if guests are not using it for refreshments.
4. Sound System. Certain models of hot tubs have specially designed sound systems that will allow you to not only hear, but also feel the sound of your favorite music. These sound systems are also i-pod compatible to make your music enjoyment all that more special.
5. Therapy Air. Certain models of hot tubs use Therapy Air, a process using air that is already heated from under the spa, and circulate it through the jets to give you a gentle, bubbling massage leaving you tingling all over. This feature alone will bring you hours of relaxing pleasure.
6. Cover Lifter. With larger hot tubs now available, the covers can be quite difficult to lift by one person alone. With the new cover lifters which are compatible to most models, it is quite easy for one person alone to lift the cover off the tub. These same lifters also help store the cover when the spa is in use. They use foam handgrips and are easy to handle even with wet hands.
7. Mood Lighting. There are many options to choose from in lighting. Some models come equipped with a Northern Lights package, and other models can be upgraded to this feature. The Northern Lights are much brighter and are rated for thousands of hours of continuous use. The lights are displayed either in strobe mode or in a gentler soothing mode as they move through the colours of the rainbow.
8. Wireless TV. It is now possible to have the convenience of wireless TV readily available while you are relaxing in your hot tub. There is a waterproof model available that can fit right on to your spa. It is equipped with a remote control and waterproof speakers, among other features.
9. Aromatherapy. Scent can be added topically, or in some hot tub models there is a built-in capability to disperse the fragrance of your choice through the air injection system. The therapeutic sensation of scent can soothe away the weariness and troubles of the day and coupled with the aquatic massage from the jets, you will enjoy a relaxing soak.
These are just some of the hot tub accessories available to make your total spa experience more enjoyable. You will find that they are well worth the extra investment as you spend more and more of your time relaxing in and around your spa.
