Another economical way to cut cost is staying at an all-inclusive resort. It may seem pricey, but keep in mind all drinks and food are included. Cancun, Mexico has many of these types of packages so look into a weeks stay at any of there big resorts. Just don't step on the scales shortly after arriving home.
