I'm getting ready for a vacation to the state of Maine. I am from Maine although I've been living in Florida for 12 years now. I have some family here in Florida however; most of my family resides in the great state of Maine.
I'm leaving Wednesday morning the 1st. of July, from the Valdosta airport. I'm anxious to get there I seen my family last year about the same time. Last year I was there for my great-nieces wedding she is know expecting her first child that will be my great-great nephew she's having a boy.
Of course, I'll have my share of seafood after all that is one of the delicacies Maine is famous for. There is a lot to do in Maine especially during the summer months. I may go out on some boat cruises and I won't be far from Old Orchard Beach where there are many fun rides to go on.

A few years back there was a survey on the best states to raise children in. Maine was voted # 1 of all 50 states. It does have its fair share of crime in the streets although not anywhere as bad as most states.
