If you select to plan your own exercises, you will need to incorporate a number puzzles, exercises or other exercises that aid to bring your point to fruition. In short, you need to make sure that your workers are working together to reach the aim you have set for them. Your aim may be to develop them as a true team.

Finding unique exercises can be difficult. If you are tired of the old exercises (like the trust task of falling back on each other in the hope of getting caught) you can and should bear in mind any of the following exercises. They are unique and yet they teach the specifics of team building.

1. The helium stick activity is a great one to attempt. Here, you ask two groups of people to stand facing each other in two rows. They extend their index finger and the helium stick (a lightweight rod) is placed on their fingers. Without removing, pinching or otherwise holding the stick besides it lying on top of their fingers, their aim is to lower the stick to the ground. The task is nearly impossible initially. Insist on the workers stop the task and develop a agenda to reach their aim.

2. The plane goes down, which 12 items are kept for survival? The workers works to reach this aim of listing the 12 most important items that they need for survival. This kind of activity helps to teach communication skills. The workers should work together to list only 12 items, rank them and tell why they are the most important. They communicate this to the rest of the groups.

3. Balloon blowing is another fun but educational game you can plan for your activity. Here the workers is divided into two teams. Each team stands in a circle and one balloon is placed in the center of the workers. Once thrown in the air, the workers should keep the balloon aloft longer than the other workers. The only trick is that they can only utilise their breath to do it!

When organising exercises for team building and strengthening, you should remember the significance of using tasks that employ a assortment of skills. You may wish to focus on a number tasks that aid to develop a strong understanding of what it means to be a team. More tasks doesn't mean more will be learned, keep this at the forefront.
