What can we do about those special problems we all see in our hair.

First we are going to talk conditioners.

There is a thing called a reconstructor, this product doesn't reconstruct any thing. Some people get the idea that they are going to have their hair reconstructed to a time when there was no damage.

Reconstructors simply deposit proteins and oil, into the hair to give it strength while it grows out, and the ends are clipped on a regular basis.

These specially formulated products will not work if you don't, apply liberally, place a plastic cap on hair, and place under a hot dryer for exactly 30 minutes.

It takes 15 minutes for the cuticle of the hair to open, and another 15 minutes for the product to deposit.

All of the hair you see, is dead, therefore, it can only stabilized temporarily.

It is also important to know that hair can be damaged by over conditioning. Don't ever use leave-in conditioners, because they cause a build-up on the hair.

Often, people will have a problem with hair fallinf, breaking or not growing in the middle part of the head. This is a very unique problem, usually brought on by greasing the scalp. The scalp has been greased over a long period of time, and the oils that are being produced naturally, can't make it to the surface, and the oil has blocked the hair follicle, causing bacterial to grow, and eventually the hair follicle will get so bif, the hair falls out. A high frequency apparatus should be used, because it has a germacidal effect, and eventuall, new hair will grow.

The reconstructor can also be used for dry scalp, simply do a massage with the product, and place under the dryer.

It should also be noted that, don't use relaxers that are called, sensative scalp, no-lye, and others that are suppose to be easy on the scalp, because they do more harm than good. It is extremely important to use a professional for this service, because it is a chemical. Professionals have been trained in this.
