Life is as easy or as hard as you want it to be. Truly, you can decide what you want out of life and go after it and actually get it. Do you think successful people are just lucky? I remember how I felt when I first started getting successful and earning decent money. I was in a commission-only sales job, and as I made more money I said to my boss, I am so lucky, I can't believe this is happening and he said, Its funny Suzanne - the harder you work, the luckier you get.

There is truth in that.

I will acknowledge there could be a little luck involved, but honestly, 99% of the time, success comes to those to work hard and work smart. Success also comes to those who expect it.

I expect great things to happen in my life and they always do.

Just the other day, I went to a Childrens Festival in our small town with my husband James and our 3 kids (plus one of their friends, so four kids age 7 and under thats exhausting!). The Childrens Festival is also a fundraiser for Childrens Services, so I bought a set of raffle tickets 5 for $20. I considered it a donation.

At the end of the day they announced they were going to draw the winning numbers and I expected to win. I 100% expected to win. I didn't hear all the numbers being called so as I walked across the park to where the organizers stood, I passed by several friends and I said confidently, I'm going to get my prize! with a big grin on my face and my friends said, Oh did you win something? and I replied, Yes, I believe I did but I don't know what. They probably thought I was just joking.

As I got up to the organizers, I stood in front of their official-looking table, and said, OK what did I win? in a loud, cocky voice and they looked at me and said, What number did you have? So I said, What did number 268 win? and there was a stunned silence. Then one of the said, Is that your number? Seriously? Yes, it was.

I won the Grand Prize!

Can you believe I won the grand prize? I was thrilled. I won a full living room set of gorgeous rich brown leather couches, tables, lamps, everything. Its worth $5000!

I am sitting on it right now and I can tell you one thing for sure it smells so good!

You know the expression Good things happen to those who wait? How about this one: Good things happen to those who expect it. I expect the best parking spot and I always get Rock Star parking. I expect to have beautiful, wonderful things come into my life, I expect to attract nice clients into my practice. When I first started my practice, I stated, I will only work with nice people and thats exactly what happened. Its amazing, and it works.

Expect the best. You deserve it!
