When it comes to choosing the perfect men watch - for you or someone you love - it can be difficult to narrow down the choices from all the available styles on the market. Here are some tips for you when you are ready to buy a men's watch. 1. Decide on what style you want. Will you wear it at work, hunting, or out on the town? A big bulky watch designed for hunters probably isn't the best watch to wear while wearing a tuxedo.

2. Decide on the movement. The movement is basically the inner workings, there are three types: quartz, mechanical and digital. A quartz watch uses a tiny vibrating crystal inside, these are very accurate. Mechanical watches rely on springs and gears; these are quite expensive and not as accurate. The digital watch is battery powered, cheaper although considered a more casual style of watch.

3. Make sure you get the proper size face. A regular size face on a large man could end up looking like a ladies watch. Look for quality construction including polished bezel and case. An additional nice feature is illumination, check if the watch you are interested in has this feature.

4. Waterproof, water resistant? Water resistant is NOT water proof, it just means the watch is ok if it gets splashed. When it comes to waterproof men's watches are rated by depth.

5. Take a look at the crystal, the clear covering over the face. There are three possible materials it can be made of.

Plexiglass: this is the cheapest, and it scratches quite easily but is difficult to shatter.

Mineral crystal: this is more expensive, and it is more likely to shatter but less likely to get scratched.

Synthetic sapphire: this is the most expensive, and it's almost scratch proof but is easy to shatter.

6. The bracelet. This can be metal, leather, cloth or even plastic. This is a personal choice. Generally speaking, a stainless bracelet is superior to a faux-leather one.

7. Look around. Check out Amazon, and other shops that sell men watches. Don't just go to one shop - they could be selling at rip off prices, and you won't know until you look around.

8. Narrow it down until you have 2 or 3 watches that you're eyeing. Compare the prices of different suppliers' offer, and then get the watch with multifunction but the lowest price.

Choosing a proper men's watch may be a tough thing, but follow the above tips will make your shopping experience much easier.

Shopping for fashion watches can't be easier at Uxsight.com. It offers a large range of Ladies Watches, Men's Watches and Children's Watches at everyday low prices.
