If you are residing in an apartment at the present time, or even if you find yourself rending a house, you face limitations as to what you can and cannot do in order to expand your storage space.  As a result, you may be seeking a way in which you can create your own closet system without having to make major changes to the structure of the apartment or house in which you reside.

There are in fact some innovative closet system alternatives that are available to you today.  In fact, you may want to take the time to consider what closet system options and elements might make the most sense for you at this juncture in your own life and considering your current living arrangements.

In this regard, there are three primary elements that you might want to consider when it comes to crafting and creating a closet system that will work well for you.  The first of these components that you will want to take a look at implementing in your own closet system is hanging closet shelves and drawers.  These units are easy to install, do not cause permanent damage to the house or apartment itself and provide you with invaluable and easy to access storage space.

Beyond hanging closet shelves and drawers there are shoe organizers that can be invaluable elements of an overall closet system.  If you are like most people, your shoes tend to end up on a pile because you simply do not have enough shoe space to organize your your footwear in an orderly fashion.  With shoe organizers, your footwear can be stowed in such a way so as to take up a minimum amount of space.  Moreover, with shoe organizers you have the ability to select what ever pair or shoes you want to wear at a given time with ease.

Finally, when it comes to the elements of your closet system that you will want to consider utilizing, you will want to add closet doublers to that list.  Closet doublers actually are precisely what the sound like.  These are additions to your closet that actually work to expand the space you have available for storage without your having to make renovations to the closet itself.
