This process can be overwhelming and many people decide to investigate franchising interested of a traditional start-up business. There are several reasons why a franchise should be considered over a traditional start up and here are the most important ones:

  1. Franchises use an established concept and brand name. This is probably the most important factor about buying a franchise. You will have a far better chance of survival owning a well known brand name franchise. Statistics show that almost 70% of new businesses fail within the first year of business where as only about 10% of franchise businesses fail in that same 1 st year of business.
  2. Franchises are basically "businesses in a box" meaning everything has been thought out for you and you simple follow the directions to make your business successful. Franchisors have developed effective to quick start your business and to rapidly generate local exposure for you business.
  3. You receive ongoing training and support from the franchisor. It's extremely important to have ongoing mentoring and training for as long as you own a business. It's very easy to become frustrated and discouraged running a business of your own so constant support and encouragement is crucial
