Son our journey is almost over, but yours my son has just begun, As we finish up on this roller coaster of a ride you will soon begin a new kind of ride of your own. You left a lost young boy who didn't know which way to go but now I can see you returning a fine young man who knows what direction to go my son.

I can see within your letters the pride you now hold the pride of becoming a United States Marines. Now go and serve your country my son, as a Marine's job is never done though as your mother I would never stop worrying about you or wonder what you might be doing son. Son are you hungry, cold or even hurt?

Son I pray each and every day until I see your handsome face. Son go and do what needs to be done then come back home safely to all that hold you dear. Son you will always be within my heart even though we will now be apart.

I am so very proud of you my son because of what you have gone and done. Your a Marine now my son. So my son I love you very much and here's to your new journey son. You made all of us very proud and may your journey never end.

Article by Theresa Massone my girlfriend, She thought you all would enjoy this. She wrote this to her son who is going to go to Marines.
