Information, Search Engine Blogs, and RSS Feeds I feel that
blogs and RSS feeds are a big part of the internet's future and it is important
for everyone to at the least be aware of this fast growing trend in information
delivery. Blogs and RSS feeds allow the user instant access to the latest
information on any subject they are interested in pursuing. This format can be
delivered directly to your desktop in the click of a button and once you get the
hang of it, I believe that you will be hooked on it's efficiency and ease of
use! Give it a try - your internet future is waiting!
What exactly is a blog? The simplest explanation is that a blog is basically
a weblog with web links, content, and set in an order with the most recent
information on top. The content shows personal or corporate interests. Blogs
first appeared around 1995 but started to become know by more than just a select
few around 1998. Widespread usage began around 2002.
TThe true power of the
blog and RSS feeds lie in their syndication. Any writer can instantly publish
their information and have it worldwide in a matter of minutes!
Let's
start! My current favorite blog tool is Blogger . If you can type on a computer and
read instructions, you can have your own blog up and running in minutes! Blogger
will even host your blog for free and there is an easy to follow blog tutorial.
