I recently just got back from the “Trans World Halloween Costume and Party Show" in Chicago, IL. After attending the show and many of the seminars I have decided to make a list of what will be hot for 2006 Halloween costumes.
Here is the list.
1. Pirate Costumes – With a new Pirate of the Caribbean movie coming out this summer staring Johnny Depp. Pirate costumes are sure to be one of the hottest.
2. Superhero Costumes – Two new movies are scheduled to come out this summer including: Superman Returns, and X-Men: The Last Stand. New costumes for both movies will available before the premiers.
3. Wizard of Oz Costumes – It’s a classic that has never died, and if the Halloween Costume and Party Show has anything to say about it. These costumes will stick around for years to come. Many new items this year are Sexy Wizard of Oz Costumes including sexy: Dorothy, scarecrow, tin girl, and lion. As well as new munchkin girls and more kids costumes.
4. Sexy Costumes – Some of the largest companies at the Trans World Halloween Costume and Party show are sticking to sexy costumes. The biggest of these companies is Leg Avenue, who now carries the largest amount of sexy costumes on the market. Also new this year the company Pony Express has teamed up with Playboy with a brand new line of sexy high end costumes.
Tom Fallenstein is the owner and operator of Wizard of Oz Costumes .com - an online retail store that offers kids to adult size wizard of oz costumes including: Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Glinda, Wicked Witch, Munchkins, Flying Monkeys and others. He also owns a variety of other online costume stores and has been in the costume business for over 12 years.

This is a very infomative letting. I believe these costume will be so hot this year that you wont see them in the stores after oct 15th. Respond to this comment

Pirates and superheros will not be any "hotter" than they have been for years. Sexy costumes are always "hot." Wizard of Oz never is, except in one particular community. But lets face it that costumes aren't hot, per se, unless you sell them (like the author). Respond to this comment
