Hey all! instead of writing a whole thing this week I thought I would share with you the letter I sent to SC senator Lindsey Graham. I have emailed it as well as faxing it to his offices in SC and in D.C. I have requested he get back to me and explain his actions. I'll let you know how it all turns out>

Senator Lindsey Graham,

My name is Steven Rogers. I live in Inman , SC. I am a long time republican and as such represent a majority of your constituents in your state. I am writing because of the news that you will be voting for judge Sonia Soto Meyer to be seated in the Supreme Court. I tried to call your office Thursday afternoon. I spoke briefly with someone in your office. They told me in no uncertain terms that you had a responsibility to the country to vote for her that you couldn 't just vote on behalf of the people here in SC. If that is your belief sir then you are mistaken. Your responsibility is to your state. It is to the people who trust that you will represent them. It is not to the people in New York, California, or even our neighbors in North Carolina. It is defiantly not to the president who does things not for the people but in spite of them. You are even slimier than he. You are pretending to be a conservative, while in fact you are as liberal as any democrat out there. You have given the term RINO (republican in name only) a new depth. Soto Meyer is a racist, and to say that does not cloud her judgment is ridiculous. Her most controversial racial verdict has already been over turned. We as a party do not want her as a Supreme Court justice. If you don't believe me I encourage you to remove your head from your rectum (or Obamas I can't tell the difference) and have a look around. Listen to the people who sent you as their representative. If you don't believe those of us beneath you, turn on the news. You are the ONLY republican offering support of this woman. If this woman gets seated we lose even more ground on our fight for the constitution. What happens to the 2 nd amendment or even our basic liberties like our right to life? If the country wants her let them vote for her. You need to vote for your state and the people who live in it. Be a patriot stand up to the democrats. Be a man. As a United States Marine I took a vow to defend the constitution and to do my duty. You know your duty. If you vote for this, you should do as Specter did and switch parties. He at least had the integrity to be honest about his beliefs. Know this however if you go against your state and go forward with your vote as you have stated, I will use every means available me, every opportunity to get you voted out of office. I hope you will do the right thing.

Thank you,

Steven P. Rogers

Steven is a self proclaimed right wing Christian extremist. He is a former Marine and currently work in the laboratory of a cancer research and treatment facility. He is the father of two little girls and is referred to as genius by his wife (mostly as a sarcastic term of endearment!)
