Once upon a time, Whitney Houston was the greatest singer of all times. Her career was then overshadowed by drug abuse and many wondered if the talented artist inside her would ever shine again. Well, it has, and Whitney Houston has put her life back where it once was, and finished work and a new album. Many are claiming this is album, I Look To You, is going to be one of the most promises albums to hit stores in a very log time.
Whitney Houston had one of the most powerful voices of the 90's. Her music was memorable and her ballads brought people to their knees, but many wonder what her comeback will bring. After a fifteen year absence, will this album be the first of many more, and or the final curtain call of Whitney Houston's career.
Being on of the biggest music icon, of the 90's, there are many people, both in the music industry and general public, that wish nothing but the best for Whitney Houston. They have faith that she will be able to deliver the sounds that millions have grown to love.
There is a scheduled release date, for I Look to You, of August 31st, and many have already pre ordered their copies, with the hope it will be nothing but amazing. The album track title, I Turn To You, is currently available to listen to, on her official website. Whitney Houston is entering back into the industry with a new sound to her voice, however she is still a very talented performer. Her vocals and lyrics are awe inspiring, though a little less powerful then many are expecting. From previewing this track, I honestly feel that this album is going to be one of the greatest of her career. I am excited to hear what else she has for us!
