Like all hairs on our body, eyelashes go through growth cycles. This means that individual hairs fall out all the time without us knowing about it.

In a healthy person, eyelashes go from it's dormant state to actively growing in about two months. This means that most lashes are at most 8 weeks old.

Like other hairs on your body, your eyelashes can fall out if they are damaged or shocked. Eyelashes can fall out due to alopecia, chemotherapy, or hypothyroidism. Some people end up pulling their lashes out with eyelash curlers, false lash adhesives, and obsessive compulsive pulling.

As long as the hair follicles are not damaged, then lashes should grow back once they enter another growth cycle or the follicle repairs itself.

Chemotherapy patients find that their eyelashes along with the rest of their hair start regrowing when they stop chemo. Hypothyroid patients observe hair growth once their thyroid hormones are balanced.

Lashes that were pulled out from too much rubbing or tugging will regrow as the eyelash enters it's new hair cycle.

An eyelash grower stimulates the hair follicles and extends the hair's growth cycle. These eyelash growth products make eyelashes grow faster for a longer time.

One such product, LiLash also contains vitamins and minerals needed for strong and fast eyelash growth. To use LiLash, just put on a tiny amount to the base of your eyelashes. Most people notice longer looking lashes in just 2 weeks.

For even greater results, use LiLash once in the morning and once at night before you go to sleep. As long as you follow manufacturer directions, LiLash is non irritating and gentle enough for even the most sensitive of eyes.
