After having to clear his name of a Facebook rumor that he had skin cancer, Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has yet another incident to 'wash'.

According to commentators during the NFL kickoff on Thursday, September 10, 2009, Roethlisberger had been accused of sexual assault. Of course me, being the nosey person I am, the " got-to-get-the-truth " spirit that controls me led me straight to my computer. Apparently, I didn't have enough common sense to know that if the NFL commentators had not stated it was a rumor, then why was I trying to make sure that it wasn't.
Reportedly, Andrea McNulty, an employee at Harrah's Casino in Nevada filed a lawsuit against Roethlisberger, accusing him of the alleged incident that took place on July 11, 2008; the news of this filed lawsuit hit the public on July 21, 2009. Now, the date may be approximated, bt the year sure isn't, and I ask all my readers: " Why a year later, McNulty? " This alleged incident reminds me of the Clinton-Lewinski incident ... still nonsense! Okay, I'm giving you my word that I will not go off point, People. LOL. So, to stay on point, in the lawsuit filed against Roethlisberger by McNulty, the alleged incident happened under the " pretense that [Roethlisberger] needed help with a television. (Again, I will not go off point).
Attorney for the QB had a confident and positive statement toward the complaint, stating (paraphrased) that there was no evidence of a criminal complaint, nor criminal investigation; this could either help or harm Roethlisberger's case.
Apparently, the lack of evidence of a criminal complaint or investigation has helped Roethlisberger. Shortly after discussing the incident, commentators added that McNulty had admitted to lieing; Roethlisberger would took no countersuit action, other than requiring McNulty to apologize ... go figure!
