So, you know what you want to sell and how you want to layout your website, but you are still struggling with choosing the right domain name. You are not alone; believe it or not this can actually be one of the biggest decisions besides choosing a web host that you can make when it comes to your business.

The problem is that just about everyone wants the perfect name for their company and they want that domain in the .com form. With so many different .com names already in use, this can make it a little difficult to choose a business and domain name that you like that is a .com. Does this even really matter? Well, the answer to this is both yes and no.

The thing is with a domain name is that when you buy the domain name you also should buy all the different versions of that name. If you start a business that sells hand painted shoes and the name has .com, you don't want your popularity to cause someone to take your name and put it on a .net. They could easily steal your customers this way. So you need to get the .com and .net versions of your name. This is not a big deal if the name is similar to another site that sells unrelated items. Your customers will know they are at the wrong site.

There are few things to think about when getting your name together. You definitely don't want words that people misspell a lot. that is bad news for your name. It is smart to make up a name that people will relate to you. You want the name to be somewhat descriptive of what you offer. One more thing is name length. The longer you make it the more that people will make mistakes with it. So don't use more than three words.

You will be very glad later that you took your time now with the choice of a domain name. Between that and a web host, these are two things that you don't want to be in a position to need to later change. It will cause way too many issues. So take it slow now and later you will be happy.

You need to be careful about getting the perfect domain name and php hosts . Take your time with these decisions because decent php hosting and the proper name will save you trouble later.
