Do you ever feel just like you just don't have enough time in life to get everything done? You feel yourself getting frustrated as the list keeps getting longer and fewer things are getting crossed off. You've heard the term time is money. Time is also just time, and there's never enough of it. Or at least that's how we feel occasionally. The key for how to be a good personal assistant lies in learning the basics. Let's review some tips that will help you manage your time and prioritize your schedule better :

First, schedule your day previously. If you don't know your schedule beforehand, how on earth will you get it all done? Review the major and minor things you'll need to do, both at the start of each week and at the start of each day. If you make your schedule a week in advance, you will still have time for last minute details that come up. Schedule everything-from exercising, to taking your children to faculty, to eating dinner, and even to taking out the trash. Schedule everything! This way, nothing will come to you as a surprise. This is a majorly vital step you may find out about how to be a good personal assistant.

Secondly, follow your schedule. What's the point of making a schedule if you don't stick to it? Make sure the major things can be done in the time frame you have allowed for them, and the minor things can be completed between. This is prime to learning how to be a good personal assistant, or rather the best way to be your own personal assistant.

Third-make time for unexpected things. This goes with number one ; as you plan your week, leave 1 or 2 minutes each day free so that you will probably still have some time for all the surprising things that come up, like fixing a flat tire or correcting a broken heater in your house. Each day things will appear that you didn't plan on or that you've forgotten about, so this is also a critical step you can implement so that you can learn more about how to be a good personal assistant.

4th step for how to be a good personal assistant-be efficient. Multitasking is hard to do, but it increases your potency level by a lot. If you can make a telephone call in the automobile on your way home from work, then do something else at the office you can only do there-like sending a fax or making copies. Take the rubbish out at the same time you feed the dog, perhaps right before you go running, so that you do not have to go outside five times after you get home. Brush your teeth while taking a shower, fix breakfast while you're preparing for the day rather than when you're completely ready to walk out the door, or write an email on your lunch break-do anything that you can to complete 2 or 3 things at once so that you will spend a little less time doing more things.

Life is busy enough, so let's simplify it. These tips on how to be a good personal assistant take hard work and prioritization, but it is always worthwhile in the final analysis when you can arrange your week, follow that schedule, make time for unexpected things to come up, and learn how to be efficient. There are several other things you can do to learn how to be a good personal assistant, but let's stick with this list for the moment. Of course , you already have ten other lists to fret about.

Never second guess a decision, embrace it; Then you will succeed.
